Super Smash Brawl Release date moved

It makes no sense that he would change the date on the front page, yet leave his announcement on the Notice page. Think about it; If you had to edit a release date for a game, but you KNOW you released footage of the game awhile back, wouldn't you make sure to go remove that date as well? I mean, it seems weird that Sakurai would just... 'forget' that he put that other release date on the USA site.

Yet, in the same way, it's weird that we would have recieved the game before Japan. I know that Mario Kart DS was released in USA about a month before it was released in Japan, but in Brawl's case, you're talking nearly two months! That's quite the stretch.

Sakurai is no fool. He knows he needs the money from the Christmas rush.
With all luck, we'll have it before Christmas.

eDelaying the game more than december would be some nasty thing.

They could make sooo much money on holydays is insane to delay it a little... unless there is a big and important development to be done.

MY THEORY is that since we all know that they are facing some difficulties in supplying wiis to the world... they will focus all their stocks to supply north america.... and then sell it in japan.... They maybe know that the japanese market have been won long time ago... and they want to focus all their force on USA and amrica.... and then sell in japan...which will sell a lot anywyas!

That is good news, since...

Nintendo will also begin a service similar to the DS Station retail service. You'll be able to download demos from your home.

This was announced at the Fall Conference.
Does this mean we MIGHT get to download the Brawl demo onto our Wii's?

I ****ing hope so :D

Also, do you really think that they would reveal EVERYTHING about the game before it came out?

I hope it is just a site glitch. Like one time when the Wario level was announced it would show up sometimes at first and sometimes not. But I will not believe it is delayed again! Especially since i was so excited about December 3rd during E3. All I can say is pray.

Why not just delay it till Dec. 3 2008 while we are at it Nintendo.... or maybe we can take the time to make it so good that we can push it back 5 years and make it that much better... I don't care if it has abit less content or isn't 100% prefect, I want that **** on Dec. 3 2007. From what I seen on the Dojo I will be more then happy enough with it on that date.

Well I don't think we can trust them until the dojo has the US release back up saying Dec. 3 2007 but nice find. Atleast that makes me feel abit less concerned.

The date was announced on the site, too.

To be honest if the date WAS changed, I would think it would have said it specifically in the update.
