Since I've been asked:

1. Durable shield is automatically equipped when purchased. It works like a heart container in that it is automatically used.
2. Moydow is still charged. Their charged attack will only work if they damage someone other than themself.
3. You must specifically opt to use an item after you purchase it (aside from Durable Shield and Extra Health point) if you want to use it.

Thanks to whoever asked this, since I didn't think to ask this myself, and was actually kind of expecting my self-shot to get charged so that anyone shooting me would just die instantly :p

Basically it is stipulated that, when shooting yourself, 1 health point is lost in the rules as opposed to “dealing damage to yourself.” I was also asked earlier what would happen if someone used a bazooka and shot themselves, to which I responded that it couldn’t be done and would not double damage back to damage dealers.

Although in hindsight I think I should have made it that way if people were willing to take the gamble. High risk, high reward? Hmm

Chapter 2 - The Jester's Demise


Finally, the first had fallen. Ramuh announced that it was a jester by the name of "Bard." In all the fireworks and inanity that had taken place in this battle, no one had bothered to ask each other their names or where they had come from. While we had taken different shapes and forms upon coming here, the others had not realized we were all a part of Smashboards. However, it was too little too late; Bard's lifeless body began to dissipate and disperse into but mere energy particles.

Splendid. Truly splendid. The essence of Bard will be of great use to me. While Ramuh and the other fighters are not not looking, I shall collect Bard's essence and then continue onward. Once I have collected the essence of everyone here, I shall kill Ramuh and be rid of this place...as per the usual. I am so close to realizing my full potential. So, so, so very close.
