Well, on flavour alone Hellboy sounds like a good character claim that matches our odd ones. And he's a demon with a big skillset, he could probably do "anything", at least closely enough for the scope of this game.

ok guys. sorry for disrupting the claim order, but i'm just going to claim now since i have the time. plus, i'll be able to claim for BeatStick while i'm at it. sort of.


i'm Professor Xavier, town identifier. i have the ability to go into a subject's mind and learn who they are. so i'm kind of like a cop, but way more open to interpretation. on night 1 i identified Gheb, on night 2 i identified Circus, and on night 3 i identified BeatStick.

on night 1, i learned Gheb was Wolverine (rest in peace, Logan). this made me think he was probably town, but i had my doubts since Wolverine is kind of a loner character and is known to lose his temper and become violent. so when i saw Circus confirm him as town on day 2, i felt very good about both Gheb and Circus.

but people were still suspicious of Circus, so i decided to identify him on night 2 just to be safe. he is indeed Wonder Woman. i assume there are characters like Dark Horse in this game that are there to trip up my results in some way, and it's possible that Circus could be a character like that since i'm not given explicit alignments, but i feel good about him for now.

finally, last night i identified BeatStick as--drum roll, please...

Boba Fett. weird, right?

now, feel free to mock me, but i'm not a huge Star Wars person. i saw the original movies when i was little, so my memory of characters and events is fuzzy. does Boba Fett make sense as a member of the town to anyone? he was a bounty hunter who was after the good guys, right? in fact, a quick wikipedia search calls him a "major villain" in Empire Strikes Back. unless he has some kind of redemption arc that i don't know about, i'm thinking he's most definitely anti-town in some way.

Boba Fett, Town Jailer. I crumbed my role shortly after Zen's fake dayvig (Alcatraz). I was "stunned" D1 and D2 and couldn't use my Night Actions(in my crumb, I "never went" to Alcatraz), and N3 I jailed RF. I didn't want to jail potential vig targets, and I wanted him to stay alive. The amount of NKs previous Nights, combined with Gheb flipping Vig, leads me to believe that RF is as good as cleared.

I can also mine one person. If that person is lynched, the hammerer dies. I mined Circus last Night.

Hep, outing my role before I claimed was bad. You could've waited and checked if I lied or not, especially considering that you considered my role scummy. Why didn't you wait?

Because Nabe has a roleblock ability and you are claiming roleblocker yourself for one.

And what does that even mean, Ryu for a fact roleblocked you for n1 and n2. If you were roleblocked by someone else you would hae recieved two roleblocks in a night.

We aren't in mylo. Assuming there are two scum and not 3 left.

And that's just a bad thought anyways seeing how Ryu reacted to my attacking Nabe yesterday. But I do agree with you that that is the only other option. Meaning, you're scum.

Jailing is also protective, so that's relevant as well. We haven't had a doctor flip. Did have a bodyguard though but that's not exclusive.
