Can safely say that the game can kick your *** if you play on normal and the Gem system sucks (Paying 50 of them for every single loss is ridiculous with that level design).

So I've played on Easy and beat half of the story. It's definitely a fun game, if a little lacking.

I'm just glad the game is getting more exposure.

I definitely support Bomberman, love R and really want to go back to play the older Bomberman titles, which I haven't played since the Blockbuster days.

He'd seems like he'd be a perfect addition to Smash, and should he join, i'd love to see this R track appear on a Bomberman stage:

There are a couple of Bomberman titles on the Wii's VC, such as '93, '94, and Hero and the Wii U's VC recently got 64!

Trapping people on top of the walls and cruelly letting them wait for the end-of-match Pressure Blocks to put an end to them is another tactic of that sort.
I wonder if they'd implement the Pressure Blocks in Smash, somehow, too? An Assist Trophy that drops a row of them, maybe?

Right, thanks for the correction since I barely gotten far in the game or unlocked them (those gems are hard to come by). Imagine the guys playing Golem Bomber having a hard time seeing because of his massive body.

I see some of the new characters, the brown and white ones are barely recognizable. They must be characters who are just as old. I like the new ice level at least.

The fact that this game is getting DLC is important in my opinion.
A part of me thought it wouldn't happen, but I am glad that Konami is showing support for the game. I thought they would just release the base game, do a patch or two, and that would be it.

Let's see who they are.

Look in the link with the full trailer. Towards the end, you can see the three new characters.

The white one is without a doubt the Vic Viper based on the ship-like appearance. The one with the large black pyramid on its head is literally Pyramid Head from Silent Hill. The third character, it's possibly Simon based on the brown attire at least. BUt we will probably know for sure when it's out.

Mine was Wario Blast Featuring Bomberman, which I got for Christmas in 1996, in the UK long-box re-release in which it was repackaged with Wario Land.
