Do people REALLY want Matthew over Isaac? That kinda seems like taking sloppy seconds to me. Like if instead of Ridley we got Meta Ridley for example.

We don't need a new game or remake.
We need to make it relevant, and that's by creating stuff around it. Sharing the games etc.
A game is relevant as long as people play it.
If nobody plays DK, mario, FE, they wouldn't be relevant.
So if you wish for GS to be relevant, play it. Show that you're playing it. Draw stuff, remix music, stream it,share what you find.
Heck, as someone said let's make a fangame if we want too.

But therein lies the problem, we HAVE been doing all that! And sadly if someone makes a fangame, Nintendo would likely DMCA it as they have with plenty of other fan games.
But I digress, plenty of people are still playing Golden Sun and am streaming it, remixing the music, and so on and yet Camelot just don't seem to care as they are too busy with Mario Sports Games. Don't get me wrong, I actually really like Mario Tennis Aces, it's not perfect but is a ton of fun.
We are already doing all we can for Golden Sun and sadly a lot of the fans from that time are now adults with jobs and lives to live, they can't be dedicating all that time just to the possibility of reviving a dead franchise.

In general, the designs and artwork for Dark Dawn are honestly amazing. It's an underrated game, and it didn't deserve the hate it got. It's one of the best looking DS games for its time too.

I'd rather have Felix than Matthew honestly. Though alot of that has to do with me liking The Lost Age (favorite game in series) way more than Dark Dawn (least favorite game in series).

One thought I had is, what if we did end up getting Felix in Ultimate after pushing Golden sun so hard? Maybe as Sakurai's way of saying "Hey, look, I don't want to make an assist character playable and open that can of worms, but I want to give you GS fans something."

Maybe that's just crazy talk though. It would be weird to see Felix become playable before Isaac.
