No. I like ToyAgumon more simply put. My entire thing is "characters who I like. And they also must not have a literal spirit." Incidentally, yeah, ToyAgumon is the only one not to be a main character, heh.

Man, even if there ends up not being a game after all, I'm loving this resurgence of the Golden Sun fandom. Simply seeing the fanart and such is wonderful!

Nate Drake who is as far as I know one of the most trusted insiders on Resetera pretty much denied Mario Golf happening anytime soon and with Camelot having this gap going on without a new game and coupled with the stuff in favor of Golden Sun things are looking great for us
AFAIK Drake has a good record (or at least people on Resetera said that), but he was wrong in some things (he was the first one who said Metroid Prime Trilogy for switch would be revealed in 2018 game awards, he also said Star Fox GP existed...). Though, to be fair, others respectable insiders were also wrong in those ones (and the plans could have changed as to Metroid Prime Trilogy).
I'm telling you guys, I think Golden Sun is finally making it's grand return.

Yeah, even if there are some things that could potentially point towards a new Golden Sun, it's hard not to take a "won't believe it until I see it" stance considering how neglected the franchise has been.
The fact that he is putting Mario Golf and Wave race together as a "never a had a chance" situation… there is nothing that implies Mario golf is an exception when it's compiled in such statement he is making. He is saying one thing for both titles at the same time.

I believe they have already been confirmed as not participating in Summer Game Fest.
I understand they're not currently part of it, but plans can change. I just think it's bad form to drop a trailer with no warning like this when a venue for announcements is available and they have an established vehicle for announcements in Directs. If they want to get back to the latter, that's fine, but I think randomly dropping a major trailer like they did with Paper Mario is, at best, lazy, and at worst, disrespectful to your media partners.
What's in Nintendo's interest to revitalize GS out of nowhere?
A trademark, unrelated to the other ones, that Nintendo has been fighting to have it approved all around the world, including countries where the previous games never got released ? Yeah sure they do it for fun.
