BigLous has spoken yo:

BigLou: Well I would say it depends what kind of person they are. Generally, people that play mid-tiers do so because they enjoy their character. A small handful of them actually believe their character is top or high tier. In the end it doesn't really matter who you play or for whatever reason you play them; make sure you are having fun while doing so. If you aren't having fun then you are in the wrong place. If you enjoy your character, keep entering and keep practicing them. You should avoid getting discouraged by bad matchups and try to find openings to your problems. It's a lot of fun and satisfying to accomplish.

Good players can be scrubs. Anyone that uses things that aren't top tier is a scrub. Scrub doesn't mean bad. It means you limit yourself based on self-imposed rules that don't exist in the game or the tournament itself. If you're not picking the best option to win, it's a scrubby decision (and MK is not the best option in all cases, btw).

Lol @ making up your own definition for words. Calling someone a scrub is basically saying their inferior. Not choosing a top tier doesn't make you an inferior opponent because you may have more experience in the match up then them, which can give the advantage that may win a set.

MK is always the best option :)

Only if Lactose is on

I forgot, Vinnie said something like a month ago or something that the name "Vinnie" was already taken for MLG.

I don't know what his new name was under MLG, but hopefully that wasn't our Vinnie :(

Vinnie lost to "CareBear"
Vinnie beat PikaPika!
Vinnie lost to Fatal

Hopefully he'll do better in doubles, if he can control his emotions that is :/

----
As for me and Bum's tournament, I got to work on consistency and my Ness.
I beat Anaki (Meta), lost to Basic (DeDeDe), beat a Zero Suit Samus, beat looneytune (Snake), lost to Acedude's Luigi/Snake (<<)
I want to pick up Ice Climbers since their really fun, but I'm not very good at getting the grab. :/
Meta is just to UGH. I need someone to train my little Meta.
Acedude really surprised me when he went Snake (but there were technical rule errors, Minty told me), I really wish my Meta was good enough to use.
I went Ness on his Luigi Game 2 since I played Hippie this morning, but I kinda ****ed up. If I hadn't I probably would have won it. :(
Ness is good, so long as you know how to use him to the fullest. Look at Shaky, he's ****** at MLG. I got to study up big time. =(

In short, we need a smash fest, with Inui to show us the points we need to get stronger at.

Any word on how PD did in singles?

Gimmicks are figured out, then characters fall. Ness will fall. ZSS will fall. NickRiddle can't win like that again when people know how to fight his character. Had he played someone like Shadow or Orion, he would have been screwed, and Atomsk would most likely beat him again. Ness is screwed if you abuse how bad he is.

Only four characters have been at the top consistently since this game came out. MK, Snake, Diddy, Falco. That's it. If you're not using one of those four characters in singles, you're not playing to win hard enough. Wario, Marth, and ICs are borderline good. Every other character has no reason to exist besides in teams.

That'd be awesome. When and where?

Hmm... I should probably have Wario next to my name. I forgot that character is one I'm pretty good with and it wins me money sometimes. Won doubles a long time going straight double Wario with Atomsk before, and beat Izumi/GIMR recently with the same team.

Get @ my variety.

I'm hoping for my Pit to return to the tournament scene soon.

Smashfest was incredible, I wish my **** ride let us stay for draft crews (Inui how was that?). Brawl minus is so fun <3 It's always great to see everyone and no drama happened offline like I hoped ^_^. I watched a couple of your matches Inui hoping to play with you =(.

I think doubles is starting today, so noting yet. I tried calling Vinnie, his phone is off/dead. John (Minty) tried calling Will, but I don't know if he picked up.

I forgot about gimmicks. :(

As for third character, I'm leaning towards Wario/ICs
Wario plays like Game and Watch, running away and racking up damage
ICs are cute <3
