ive seen this done but i cant do it....

let me quickly run through wat happens....
dair (the opponant launches up slightly), dair(they slam back down), now heres the hard part...
how do you get the grab in? cause whenever i try to the opponant is on the ground and ungrabbable basically....
does that mean i have to space to somehow hit the ground and l cancel before they hit the ground from the dair? is this possible?
or is it that you actually get the dair in as soon as they hit the ground, causing them to launch again? giving you the grab room...
or is there some little glitch type thing that makes it easier....

please help...
this combo is almost as gnarly as triple knees and id like to be able to do it...

peace

Did he just l-cancel the second stomp and then jab to get his opponent to stand up?

Or maybe a bit of tech chasing?

I'm just throwing out ideas, because an instantaneous grab after a stomp would be godly =)

To my knowledge this is in no way possible due the stomp being a meteor spike. They are going to fly downwards at a faster rate than you could fast fall.

Video proof of this would be best so I can actually see what happened.

Like the others above though, couple guesses. The first three are the most likely.

1) Tap reset
2) Opponent teched in place
3) Possibly stomped them from a missed tech, I could see a SHFFLd stomp "potentially" leading into a grab when the opponent bounces up again at low percent or essentially gets "tap reset" by the stomp. Now that I think about, this is actually likely what you saw if it was not #2.
4) Tech chased
5) wiffed 2nd stop - > Essentially an empty SHFFL'd stomp to grab would allow that to be done. It would be extremely situational at best though and the stomp CANNOT hit or they hit the ground too fast.

Slowly starting to enjoy my mothertongue again. :)
Maybe, after he hit the ground, he got up ASAP. While he was getting up, Falcon attempted a grab. There's actually a really tiny time window when they're getting up that allows you to grab them, which is messed up, but there you go. Since this happens so fast, it might look like stomp->stomp->grab if you weren't watching closely enough.

Possibility.

Best thing to do is Grab -> Down Throw -> Tech Chase -> Down Air -> Grab -> Down Throw -> Tech Chase -> Down Air -> Knee

captain i think you might have missed a small detail or something. Tritan's post basically outlined all the logical possibilities.
