JUST TO EMPHASISE, I AM DELIBARATELY PICKING CHARACTERS THAT HAVENT BEEN CHOSEN MANY TIMES ALREADY.

WELL, I've decided not to RESTATE too many characters (just Sonic).
This lot is completely original. And drawn by me! (Except Takamaru. That was traced. Poo was also semi traced, from another pic)

And some of them have really cool PNG effects! ^_^! 1337!

Aaaaaanyway, let's get started shall we?

OHMAHGAWD! AN ORIGINAL IDEA!:

Adventure modes' usage of attack types.
There are 5 attack types: Basic, Spark, Fire, Cutter and Power.
Examples of each:

Basic: Most attacks and items. If Ness can absorb it with PK recover, it won't work.
These could break regular blocks.

Spark: Some of Pichu's attacks, Ness's PK thunder, Mewtwo's nair. Beam sword.

Fire: Samus's missiles, Roy in general, Mario's B. Warp star, fire flower and bobomb work too.

Cutter: Link, Marth, Roy, Some of Pika's tail based attacks. Beam sword works too.

Strength: DK, Ganondorf, captain falcon (smashes only).
Hammer/Homerun smash works too.

Imagine how many areas you could have?
Some ideas with drawings!

There's an area you really don't need to go, but what if there's a secret... character down
there or something... You really want to find out!


So, it's a rope right? Holding the platform up... looks like we need a cut-type attack then don't we!

Anyway,

ITEM: The cannon.
what this does, is fire a cannonball at high speed through the stage, that bounces 3 times off
objects before it disappears. It plows straight through characters, and can hit the user on rebound.

Here's an awesome gif/gif!



It can be fired once, and is an instant KO. This item would be super-rare. It does 50%.
And has almost no startup lag. It needs to be thrown with Z after 1 use.
When thrown, it will disappear on contact with ground, but does abour 20% damage if it hits someone.

And now: The character suggerstion you may have have never really wanted to see:

JIMMY/KAKERU/THAT APE ESCAPE GUY!

His alternate costume would be Spike/Hikaru.

This guy OWNS. He could be in, because the game's makers have VERY close ties with Metal Gear Solid's makers. In fact, it's even got a parody game featuring Snake, called Mesal Gear Solid. Not to mention the Ape Escape minigame in Metal Gear Solid 3...

Generally very crappy, laggy jumps. Not very high. Easier to shorthop though.

Anyway, A = Punch
A, A = Double Punch
(repeat)

Side A = Swing with whatever item he's holding (or his empty fist if dash hoop is held)
upA = Throw his hands up.
Down A = Low sweep.

Arials: Like Marth's but with whatever weapon you're holding.
If no weapon is held, his Dair is Ness's, his Fair is Mario's, his Nair is a generic float kick, his Bair is a kick backwards, and his Uair is Ness's.

Dsmash: Never changes: A leg sweep like Samus's.
And the same thing upwards for his upsmash, which is like Samus's Fsmash but upwards.

B: Cycle through items.
1: Stun club: A lightsaber type thing. This replaces neutral A attacks with his item A attacks.
There's a 5% chance that on this turn, he'll pull out the magic punch. It can be used once
before switching back to the Stun Club. The Magic punch is like a fully charged DK punch when used as an F/Upsmash.
2: Spray cannon: Spray a stream of water. If it runs out, you have to switch it for a few seconds. It allows DI, and isn't very strong.
3: Sling shot: Pretty much Falco's laser. Can be SHL'd.
4: No weapon. (press B again to return to 1)

SideB: Dash hoop. Runs forward with the dash hoop at speed, like the Yoshi's egg roll but faster. It has about the same crappy priority, and has no effect in the air.
The dash hoop stays on him until the item is switched out with B.

UpB: Sky-flyer. Fly up a bit, then glide down sort of like Peach with less manouverability.
Again, stays out and affects Side A/Smashes.

Down B: Do a flip, then ground pound on your enemy. This is like bowser, onlt he holds whatever weapon he has out in front of him, making a useful arc of range like Kirby's air hammer when he does the flip. The weapon ou're holding determines the damage.

DownB with stun club: Spin does 6%, sit on does 12. There's an 8% hitbox out in front of him while he falls because of the way he holds the club.
DownB with Sky flyer: Same as the original.
DownB with slingshot: See above^^.
DownB with ater gun: Spin does 13% but has almost no range, as the water cannon is basically a heavy metal faucet. The sit on does 13% too because of the extra weight. The full 26% will almost never happen because of the knockback of the water cannon.
DownB with no weapon: Does 12%. Like Yoshi's.
DownB with Magic punch: Like the stun club, but with 15% spin and no knockback, you you can get 27% done. The Magic Punch WILL turn back into a stun club after the spin.

The Smashes will become weapon smashes (e.g star rod, Lip Stick) with whatever item he is holding. If no item is held, he does a powered down Samus punch.



With stun club, dash hoop and Sky flyer.

KIRBY: Gets the coolest B-move in the game. It's like a whole moveset for him!.

Taunt: Spike does the peace sign and says "Gotcha!"

CLAUS and POO

I'm sure everyone will agree, Mother 2 and 3 were both hugely successful, but I'd much
rather have Lucas as a Ness costume (Or the other way round) rather than a replacement.
Claus would own either way.

Poo, well, he's just awesome. Everything about him screams awesome!

KLONOA:


Original game: Kaze no Klonoa (PS1)

Bloody unlikely, I know.
Made by Namco. If Namco doesn't go with Pacman or SC/Tekken, Klonoa is the way to go.
The red costume is inspired by his appearance in Moonlight Museum on the WonderSwan console.

Klonoa is basically a Namco mascot. He is a rabbit-cat-thing with huge funny ears.
He carries a wind ring that has this little girl called lolo inside it.
She can come out and trap enemies and inflate them with wind.
She comes out as an orb of energy during gameplay, but comes out
as herself during cutscenes.

They go around collecting elements with some strange yellow dog called popka.

Sounds ********, but it's a thoroughly entertaining game.

Weight: Average to heavy. About Ness. Slow faller.
Jumps: Totally Samus-ified
Medium lag, but some moves have laggy recoil.

A: Punch
A, A: Punch, punch
A, A, A: Punch, punch, kick
A, A, A, A: Punch, punch, kick, wind BULLET.
The wind bullet does 13% and has moderate knockback.
Rinse and repeat.

Utilt: Sweeps hand with wind ring over his head.
A very similar special effect to Zelda's u tilt.
F tilt: Captain Falcon's F-tilt
D tilt: Luigi's taunt

Uair: Headbutt upwards
Dair: Simiar to Ness
Fair: Swings his ears in front of him.
Bair: Fist with wind ring backwards

F smash: A really hard push. Sticks his two hands out in front of him.
17% when fully charged, and strong Knockback.
Usmash: Uppercut with wind ring fist.
20% when charged. Strong knockback, but no horizontal range, like Marth's Usmash.
D smash: A wind bullet circles around him once.
15% when charged. Average Knockback.

B: Wind grab: Uses wind ring to grab enemies. Lolo comes out as an orb
then goes forward a bit then retracts, like Yoshi's tongue. Once an enemy has been
grabbed, Klonoa lifts him/her over his head, and he can carry them a bit.
Once grabbed, A is to throw them forwards with moderate knockback.
They can be thrown downwards to aid recovery pressing B.
Throwing an enemy downwards should count as a meteor, but for
balance sake, I would make it bounce them upwards a little or have a
neutral effect.

UpB: Popka jump. This is the move that player 2 can do in co-op adventure.
It's a magic jump that goes upwards. Lol. It would be like luigi's upB,
but with the damage more evenly spread out throughout the attack.

Side B: Ear flap, gains some height, 7% damage, aids recovery.
On land, It's a Mario cape type. In the air, he does 3 flaps to gain height.
This move works as a reflector. The only problem it it's slow in the air.
If done just above the ground, a ring of dust appears around.

Down B: Pull a random enemey (A bit like Link) Out of his pocket,
and throws it by pressing a or downB again.

Moo (70% chance to get): Can be red or yellow. Thrown like a turnip.
6% for red, 8% for yellow. No knockbat for either.

Colour sparkle-fish (15% chance to get):
Red = fire
Yellow = electric
Blue = freeze
12% each
Little knockback.

Nothing (3%): Klonoa pulls out nothing from his pocket, looks at his empty
hand and pulls a WTF!? face for about 1/2 a second.

Boomie elephant (2% chance to get): Basically a bob-omb.

His ordinary grab would act like Link's.
Ranged, and can be used to grab ledges.
But it has about half the range, making it a useless technicality for ledges.

His airdodge would be a non-damaging, more subtle version of the ear flap.

Taunt: Throws wind ring up in the air and catches it, saying "Wahoo!"
If this taunt is interupted, the ring will continue to fall, but cannot be picked up
and will rematerialise in Klonoa's hand as soon as it touches the ground.

Stage: Probably Volk Factory or La-Looshka.

Kirby hat: the Pac-man cap that Klonoa wears.
CRASH BANDICOOT:


Original game: Crash Bandicoot. (PS1)
The green costume is Fake Crash.

He has a different animation for a shorthop than for a prolonged jump.

His upB would be SPIN. Gains horizontal distance like DK,
but you need to keep tapping it, rewarding faster button mashes!
Is less useful for attacking purposes than DK.

His B would pull out a fruit bazooka, hold B to aim and release to fire.
It would g a bit far, but disappear after a short distance.

His >B would be to pull out Aku Aku for a short period of time to deflect
items (like Mewtwo) and help with recovery a bit.

His VB would be a BODY SLAM! Similar to Yoshi and Bowser, but with shock
wave range from Crash 3.

He could have C.Falcon style ariels, but his dash attack
MUST BE his slide attack.

His F smash should be C.Falcon's SSB64 Fsmash, but without the fire.
His U smash could be a headbutt of some kind and he could
share Mario's Dsmash.

His tilts and normal As can be Just like Mario's really.

He would be middleweight, but can run quite fast and has relatively strong attacks.

The crash bandicoot stage would be a scrolling one where everyone is running
away from a giant boulder, and the boulder would basically smash you towards it.
When this happens, you pass straight through it into the blast line, since the boulder
should be half offscreen. The boulder doesn't have to move too fast at all, and there could
be platforms for jumping on to mix things up a bit.

Coco would make an easy clone.

ABE:


The last of the PSone characters I swear.
O.G.: Oddworld, Abe's Oddysee (PC/PS1)

B: Possession: It takes about half the time to charge as a PK flash, but once
unleashed, it is a directable ball of energy that applies to gravity but can jump.

You cannot use their B move, B is to dispossess, dealing 14% (When they should really explode). When dispossessed, they launch up into the air. It's set knockback, that's never fatal. Trivia: This move Jump cancels, and can be cancelled by jumping.

Smash A: Serious slap.

Side B: Farts a green fart, that lingers for about 10 seconds. Does minimal damage with very little knockback about. You CAN however, possess this fart, giving it a further 10 seconds of free-roaming time. Disposess it for an explosion and 30% Damage.
Serious, fatal knockback at over 50%.

Up B: Hoist. The jump that results from pressing UP. Perfect ledge grabbing conditions,
travels straight up. If done when you are close to the ledge below it, you will automatically
climb onto the ledge and make use of 3 invincibility frames.

DownB: Item get: Pulls out one of 4 items.
Meat: Weakest item, does 4% damage and makes opponent flinch. Thrown like Link's bomb. Slow and short ranged. 64/128 chance. Makes a squelching noise on impact.
Rock: Thrown like a Pokeball. 6% Damage, some knockback. 48/128 chance.
Bone: Thow it fast like a screw attack. 15% damage and moderate knockback. 14/128.
Grenade!: Throw like a PokeBall. Will explode on contact with an enemy or 6 second timer.
Only a 2 in 128 chance of getting this!

Upair: His running jump, flails his hands above his head. Weak.
SAMI:


Sami is just too awesome. She NEEDS to be in Brawl. Her game is from the Makers of
Fire Emblem. It's practically the same game too, but modern.

Double tap B to reload even if ammo isn't empty.

^B: Spawn a mini copter to pull her up.
>B: Throw a small grenade. Damaging, Yoshi's egg style. About 13%.
vB: Unit Construction, where she creates an Infantry or Mech unit which either runs around the field poking things (infantry- runs for X distance than vanishes) or stands there and projectile camps. (Mech- 3 shot limit)
Other units would be rare, expecially Neotanks. Artilery and rockets would be somewhat more common, but still not likely.

Runs like C.Falcon, only slower.

Fire effect added to some attacks.
The gun is on her back for all moves where it isn't used.

Lighter than C.Falcon. Maybe like Ness.

Jumps and falls like Shiek.

Super smash: CO power: Unit construction spawns 3 at a time, own.

Stage: Black fortress (?)

Possible clone character: Rachel

Sakurai may not want to use real guns, but COME ON! ADVANCE WARS IS A 7+!
GOEMON AND SASUKE:


Original games: Mystical Ninja Series (NES/SNES)
Others: Goemon 64, Goemon 2 (N64)
Goemon and Takamaru both actually come from the same town, though
not referenced in their games.

but NOT Pichu, a tad faster than Fox), better jumps but weaker.
Throws daggers(more damaging), rather than ryous.
His recovery is his legs become a propeller and he freely flies for 1 second.
He uses a SMALL sword instead of a pipe for A moves, and extends
his hair for an Upsmash.

Both entrances are a Player change warp (hovering slightly above ground)
which spawns them, thay do a little dance, then the player change
platform disappears and then they fall onto the stage.

When sent offscreen upwards, both have their Goemon 64 fall cry.

SuperSmash: IMPACT the giant robot comes along, and... does something... that pwns...

What do you think?

Stage: Shares with Takamaru (same hometown) somewhere in Oedo.
TAKAMARU, SONIC AND MEGAMAN:




I do not have my own movesets for these three.
Also, Takamaru's icon is baseless.

BUT they are great characters, and I would like them in the game.

I really, really hope this guy isn't taken out, removed or
changed in any way besides graphics. He's my main!

He was played by the guy with the nametag "IS" in my weird dream. More on that later.

MARTH!


Another one I hope goes nowhere, because he is my 2nd main.








USHER: lolollololollol.


WTF!

Anyway yeah, Usher and the Falco player (IS) were battling INSIDE the drug store at Onett.
While I (coming up) and somebody else were fighting outside it. Just then, the drug
store blew up, Usher was catapulted into the screen and Falco flew off into the distance.
I was like, "Cool, I heard Usher's death noise".

Usher's UpB (some form of backflip) resulted in a wallkick that ended up facing the wall
if it connected with a wall, and would ave the same effect (but damaging) on collision with an enemy. His other moves were a bit of a blur, but they were fast, acrobatic, and he was also quite heavy.

VENONAT: Who I was in the dream. Also, the character select screen wallpaper resembled rice paper.


Venonat was also playable, but he didn't really have any moves, except sweet scent, which was like Sing, but had a longer lasting effect, like Bellossom.

And last but not least: SADAKO.


The girl from the Japanese film Ringu, Yamamura Sadako was the most fun to play as character EVER. She also appeared to be slightly fat. (Samara in the American 'The Ring')

She played as some kind of weird Zelda/Mewtwo hybrid, with a freaky walk aniamtion,
where she appeared to have been animated walking backwards, then reversed.
Believe me, that does NOT produce a regular walk cycle.

Her run animation was like Mewtwo's, only faster, and She had Zelda's jumps with
fox's fastfalling. She shared Zelda's averagely laggy landing times, and Picked up
items with PK like Mewtwo.

She had Mewtwo's F-air, Zelda's D-air, her Uptilt was Zelda's without the explosion,
and it put enemies instantly into the tumble animation. Her Nair was like Peach's,
And her Bair was like Zelda's.

She had Zelda's jumps, but they were higher, and she had a heavy fall.

I didn't see her regular smashes, but her Weapon smashes were more like
Mario's weapon Smash in SSB64, as opposed to everyone's from Melee, and it
sent people at a perfect 90º angle.

Her Up B had 0 frames of starting lag, and was like Zelda's onle she was visible, and
had motion blur. She wasn't invincible during this however, and moved only slightly shower.

I didn't really get any of the other moves, but I really want her to be in!

I know it's never going to happen.

That's the end of the dream.

Man I can't draw to save my life. Intresting picks but I'll have to go back and look closer. I am now a full blown Geno supporter and thanks Stryks for this kick*** banner. I am thinking about making one of these but I am going to do it in a couple of months when these threads die down.

Edit: I agree with Sonic, Megaman, and Takamaru but the rest I don't know about. But a list without Geno isn't a list at all... Just kidding. This is pretty interesting.

that was avery cool list, the drawings were pretty good(compared to me anyway)
and i really thought those two ninja guys were cool.

Believe it or not, Sadako has some basis in Video games, or at least there is a parody of her.

In Guilty Gear, there is a character named Zappa. His gimmic is that he is possessed. The ghost that possesses him seems to be Sadako, and she appears as his block, and as his Insta-kill move. It's not literally Sadako, but it's close enough for government work.

As to your actual list, there are some unique ones. I'm not sure how much basis in Nintendo that Crash or Abe have, but I do enjoy that you put them in.

Edit: Also, I enjoy that she wields Pokeballs. THATS comedy.

Love the pictures, disagree with pretty much all of your characters. But I'm pretty sure most of them are jokes anyway, so I don't hold that against you.

The fact that it's the 10th topic like this in a single week... well...

With the exception of Megaman and Sonic, I'm not a big fan of your other choices. Still, you get points for having some original suggestions and really cool drawn pictures.

Hmm, at the rate that these threads keep appearing, it should be calm enough to post my own within the next 3 to 4 months I wager.

Well, Sadako was created by some guy called Hideo Nakata,
and he has the same family name (It's inversed in Japan , family name first)
as Snake's creator Hideo Kojima. Meh, could mean something. Sadako definitely
appeals to a wide audience, and they could even dub her as Samara in the NTSC/PAL release.

I dunno, I'd be more freaked if Missingno. appeared rather than Sadako,
but I wouldn't actually have a complaint if she were in. (Almost less than 0% chance though)

I just love that Claus pic. It is so badass. I saw a screensaver that him standing in that position looking at a flower or something. Anyway I think either Claus or Lucas should get in even though I would like to see them both.

Wow! I can't believe I never considered that! Adventure mode was always just... meh, fight and walk and, depending on difficulty, ZOMG GIGA!1one!

But that really puts in some strategy! ^_^ Kudos!
