Most hacks don't work online. The ones that change the way you look or play (like the extreme hacks) won't work on the other players' Wiis. Basically, the coding in their Wiis aren't changed.

However, I know two that DO work in the With Anyone games. The stage changing ones that let you play on the target stage and etc and the hacks that let multiple people on one Wii play in With Anyone.

It's not though, using codes or hacking the games isn't illegal at all. What IS illegal is piracy, and that comes with Homebrew (which is what Nintendo is trying to get rid of, not the codes). Nintendo could CARE LESS about what we do with the game much less, do they care about their online. They're not banning anyone who's using MKWii codes like always have stars so, how is this any different? Especially since they can't pinpoint who's doing it because THEY LACK A NAME! LULZ!

if they're worthless then why do you use them to practice? what do you even practice for in a basic brawl? FFA tourneys on plasma tvs? lol

but yeah most of these codes don't even really give someone an advantage, except for knowing ahead of time that every pokeball will be ho-oh...also many of these codes only work when playing with your friends and they also have the codes on. most people that use hacks online do it in basic brawls. most of the better players play in team battles. if you really want to practice on wifi, i recommend playing in team battles.

I've used it with a friend of mine and it worked, it just doesn't put you on the same team because of the randomization.

Don’t know if this is the right place to put this, hope it is.

I was messing around online with none wifi enabled codes like the Amazing link etc codes, I got DCed after a brawl started for 30Sec but then I went online again but this time the codes where working in the waiting room but when the match started, there was a player that had some other hacks but my point is he somehow was able to disable the codes I had enabled, after that I did not get DCed anymore.

So my question is, is there such a code that disables all and any hacks that others my have?

If there is then why is it that these code are not available anywhere? This should be one of the easy to find on forums codes as it is helping save the online community,

On my pal version of SSBB I have used the Multiplayer with anyone mode code and I have notice a few things

First sometime player ones pad gets to control all other players, now I know there is a code that allows this but that codes is something like 15 lines wiliest this code is only something like 4~ 5 lines??

When I am playing for long using Multiplayer with anyone mode codes on the name of other players a message comes up saying something like “Player is requesting Friend code”, this give me an idea.


Is it possible to have a button activation code that request from a player (2~3 depending what you choose) there friend code? I am sure there must be some way to use the friend mode engine, this would be cool as many times I have found good players that I wouldn’t mind playing a 1 on 1 with.


Can someone make a code that removes the region lock from this game? I want to play other people from around the world, I know that there are diehard people in Japan that don’t use cheats, I want to play them.

I know this code may have been requested many times but hare go’s.

Is it possible to have the custom stage selecting screen replace the Melee stage selecting screen? I know there is a custom stage beta code but on that code others must have the same stage, if it is possible to load target smash stage that is already on the disc then is it possible to have the stage upload from ones wii?

Come on it must be possible, back in the days many where saying it is impossible to play SSBM online yet it was possible with that tool, forgot the name.

I hope some of the codes I mentioned are possible, I am willing to help with testing as I have two wiis and the PAL, USA NTSC version of the game.

I'm fairly certain the giga and company engine was formatted specifically so players would not be allowed to do that, given that it simply switches you to regular Bowser/Wario/Pokemon Trainer/etc. instead of bugging.

uh well on 6/26 a wario man showed up on a one on one brawl but he was one of those friendly ones who just do the taunts and do the crouch thing just like me but yah he started out as a wario man and then got a smash ball and changed into normal is that a hack? and also someone else came and then like, i was using a black suit zero suit samus and then i was also using a white kirby, but at the same time. everything i made the kirby do samus did too but i didnt pick the kirby it was weird, does anybody know bout that?

Using the Wifi Multiplayer hack, make a P1 and P2. Then just wait in the waiting room
If people join and the player order is switched up, then you're not host, and the game won't start. Just opt out and try again.
If one person joins, then you're most likely host.
If P3 and P4 join and the match starts, then you're not host

For some reason, the "If P1 chooses xx character their character becomes yy (Wifi)" code doesn't work for me anymore. It used to, but now it doesn't. It worked up until I started using music hacks... Maybe music hacks somehow disabled it?

This is great because if you're chances of desynching if you're not host are a lot lower. But I usually forget this is on. Not that I need it.
Oh, and I didn't notice that someone posted this here already. I would've done it but didn't because of certain evil people. Then I realized you couldn't get banned in Basic Brawl...

uh well on 6/26 a wario man showed up on a one on one brawl but he was one of those friendly ones who just do the taunts and do the crouch thing just like me but yah he started out as a wario man and then got a smash ball and changed into normal is that a hack? and also someone else came and then like, i was using a black suit zero suit samus and then i was also using a white kirby, but at the same time. everything i made the kirby do samus did too but i didnt pick the kirby it was weird, does anybody know bout that?

If he used the Final Smash and turned into Wario, you're lying. But I'm guessing he died with the Smash Ball and reverted.
