evolutionary trends suggest that larger creatures coloured any hue that didn't have camouflaging tendencies would have died out fairly quickly

it'd be cool if they were all hot pink

it'd be even cooler if the entire world back then was a kaleidoscope of fluoroscence

Are you telling me that T-rex's had to be camo to survive?

I laugh at you, sir. T-rex's were so badass that they could be any color they wanted. So they chose to be midnight blue because hey, it matched their eyes.

If they were funny colours their prey would see them coming and thus have a much easier time preparing to run the hell away.

Camouflage would prevent whatever they were trying to kill from seeing them from ten kilometres away.

It has been suggested that T-rex's could run 30-45 mph (No, I won't convert that into kilometers for you heathens). It has also been suggested that a midnight blue T-rex (or an allosaur, for that matter) could probably strike enough fear into the gentle, saurian heart of any plant-eater to make it run slower than that, be it a Brontosaurus or a Gallimimus. Plus, if you're a six-ton thunder lizard, how effective is camouflage going to be? Might as well go for style points.

As far as I know, they found some evidence that some kinds of dinosaurs were green and others were light brown...

What kind of evidence? But yeah, that seems most likely since those two colors are probably the best for camouflage overall.

It would make sense if some animals back then had camouflage or in ways blended with their environment to improve their survival... however, I don't see how an animal like a T-Rex would have this effective camouflage. It's roll was a large, fast, and very powerful hunter.

Think of Yoshi's egg roll

Think of an actual egg roll

Throw up in the toilet because, god dammit, these foreigners and their foods are polluting the culture that your forefathers HELD DEAR, GOD DAMMIT, AND PROTECTED!

Cry in a corner, alone and unloved.

Spend a couple of hours with a friend coming up with survival plans for the Zombie Apocalypse. Feel oddly soothed and ready to deal with the strange world that surrounds you.

DANG IT.

That's weird, when I read that, it kind of gives me the feeling like I was reading some song lyrics...

Yeahh well, no one honestly pays enough attentions to luigi to make him their best.

Once you learn the basics, he gets really boring to use.

I will bet you any amount of money that you will not repeat that sentiment after watching Isai's weegee at work.

You would lose that amount of money.

Besides uair chains ending in upb or downb, what does luigi have?

Most luigi stuff is baiting others into approaching just so they can get uaired. Granted running sh dair ff uair is not easy, but luigi just gets boring. Just because isai player him well, does not mean he is any more fun to use.

You can say that about any character...

Besides utilt, what does Kirby have?
Besides (situational) uair chains, what does Pika have?
Besides uair chains, what does Mario have?
Besides laser spam, what does Fox have?
etc

What matters of course is what you are looking for in a character. I like Luigi's uair chains, but I don't like his slowness. I just wouldn't reduce it down to a statement like "what does X have?"

Fair segways, weak bair to nair

Besides (situational) uair chains, what does Pika have?

nair segways into bair finishers

Besides uair chains, what does Mario have?

sh double uair and weak/reverse hitboxes which enable mario to finish with a usmash. Downb spikes.

Besides laser spam, what does Fox have?

o_o. Coming from a fox main, this surprises me.

Of course his floatyness is another reason why luigi is somewhat boring to play, but his moveset alone also bores me.

To elaborate on that, most characters have their staple, bread and butter moves/combos. Boredom can be had with any character by only using bread and butter and never adding anything to spice it up. Admittedly, characters who are weak in approach lack that bit of variety, but effective and creative baiting/taunting doesn't have to be boring, right?

Also Fire punch "gimping" is like half the fun of using Luigi :D

I'm not serious when I say those things. I think all characters bring something to the table. I don't think you can break any character down into "What does Samus have besides dair bair" type statements.

Also Luigi can sh double uair and use weak/reverse hitboxes to finish with an usmash.

Plus using weak fair/bair -> uair yo

I agree with Battlecow and ballin'. At first Luigi seems really slow and clunky but after watching Isai's Luigi you can see the potential flow out of him.

+ fireball to uair is where it's at for Luigi anyways, and the infamous sh dair ff uair of course (I remember I think it was either Lovage or tigerbombz who was in love with it. Always said it could kill pikachu really easy lol).

That's just dumb. Of course weegee has stuff other than uair-U/DB. Almost every player uses that a lot, but there's as much room for variation and innovation with Louis as there is with any other character (that is, an unlimited amount, practically speaking). there are jab-dtilt shenanigans, Utilt stuffs, and cool fireball combos. Ballin's point, I believe, was that saying uair chains to Up-B/Down-B was all he had was just as ridiculous as saying that fox was just laser spam, because there's so much you can do with him. Saying "he only has" when you mean "he usually finishes with" is uncool.

It's just an opinion, calm down guys.

With that said, Luigi moves too slowly in the air for me. Makes me feel like I'm playing Brawl.

That's one Smasher's opinion's, which I respect! by the way.
Slowness, floaty... those would be a challange for some ppl, that'd make luigi even funnier for the challange.

EDIT: 666 Post!

segue, bro

And I think Luigi suffers from Samus syndrome, in that he moves too damn slow horizontally to perform a variety of good horizontal combinations. People differ Luigi from Samus because Luigi can combo upwards with his fantastic Uair, and one of the best finishers in the game (that connect to the Uairs), so he's generally not ragged on too much for his lack of combos. Samus has nothing in every direction, and so is criticized for no combos.

If you applied the same horizontal speed to every other character, lo and behold, you'd find lots of their combos disappearing, too. I personally don't think Luigi has very much combo opportunity, and can be a drag to play as, but I think Samus is even worse, and player her is like watching paint dry. However, TONS of people would disagree with me, so in the end, it's all down to personal preference and opinion as to which characters are entertaining to play. If you can make 'em flow, then more power to ya.

Luigi is OK vs. aggresive people, it's the defensive ones that make me dislike him, because his approach sucks.

I like Samus though, so that's kind of weird.
