The majority I see on the list seem so ridiculous. I know it's hard to legislate against subjective things like "characters for whom you don't have any basis for abilites/ attacks", but...Tom Nook? Lmbo.

Anyways, Megaman is an obvious one. My suggestion would be to have him as a lighter, quicker version of Samus, with weaker a attacks.

Bomberman. He would add another dimension of how you can play smash. His basic attacks could be like solo Olimar's. But the rest would be his attacks in Bomberman, just in side screen ( lay multiple bombs. if just one bomb, the ability to kick it. a way to increase bomb hitradius, etc)

Birdo. Much like Megaman, just with weaker projectiles but stronger smash attacks.

Conker. He just makes too much sense, honestly.

Waluigi. He could be the Dhalsim of Smash.

Daisy. A faster, stronger version of Peach, but with weakened recovery and no turnips.

Mewtwo. Just to add more layers to smash.

Everyone else is just another name, another costume, or just a slightly altered version of a character. Or, the large characters would have to be significantly reduced in appearance to make it a playable, competitive character...

But, come on! No votes for Conker? He's a hero amongst all geeks with personalities...

My friend and I wanted to think of a non-obvious character for SSB4. We thought up Eevee with the ability to switch between all the evolutions at will in order to access different elements for attacking.

Interesting idea, but probably extremely hard to play.

Zoroark is going to be in SSB4. I'm calling it.

Guys, please eh? We'll be lucky if we get another 3rd party character. Keep it Nintendo.

Ridley - as one of Nintendo's most critically acclaimed, and financially successful franchises, Metroid has been criminally unrepresented. They should have considered Ridley before Zamus ever came up. He's the longtime antagonist, Zamus is hardly relevant to Metroid gameplay.

Kraid - Next in line Metroid representative.

Samurai Goroh - Same thing goes for F-Zero, it's silly that they didn't add a second F-Zero character even back in Melee.

Isaac - Again, Golden Sun is one of Nintendo's biggest franchises. Nothing more to it.

Geno - Fan favorite, and since logically every new game needs new Mario characters. I mean, at this point it's either Geno or Birdo, haha.

Animal Crossing Villager - No brainer. Deserved better than scenery in Smashville. Should have been inducted along with Olimar, two fresh and successful new franchises. And the moveset? Soo many options.

Little Mac - Punchout is still culturally relevant today. I hear references made in media. That says enough.

Custom Robo Ray - Another star of a big Nintendo franchise..
