I haven't dropped in here yet, but know that I'm incredibly happy for you guys and that I can't wait to see how Mewtwo's metagame develops.

WOW.
Now that's a Pac Man fan if I ever saw one.
Aww, we have a reputation? And as nice people, even?

I'm really excited to see how Pac's matchup against Mewtwo turns out, especially. He has a lot of tools that could potentially wreck Pac-Man, but we have a lot of tools that could potentially wreck him, too. It could be a really intense exchange.

I'll definitely play some of you guys once his playstyle's figured out.

(Note: I also dropped in here because I do like Mewtwo. I was flabbergasted when he wasn't in, and I'm super happy to see him return as our first character DLC.)

Salutations Pacack!
My roommate / best friend mains Pacman, though I'm pretty sure neither us are good enough / care enough to really figure out matchups. Looking forward to see what'll happen with all that!

...I gotta figure out another way to support Mewtwo now that my icon's different. Ha.

Pacack! Nice to see you here! I kind of knew that you liked Mewtwo aside from the Pacster himself, but yeah. I also can't wait to see they match up against each other, since I main both characters aside from Yoshi, Sonic and a small handful of others.

If orange doesn't account for his red palette then he'll definitely have one. Also most likely he'll have a yellow one too. For the last costume, I'm all for a Mew coloration (light pink for the body while his tail is more of a hot pink/salmon). If his orange palette is his "red" then I'm cool with a monochrome Mewtwo.

Completely depends on whether Nintendo sends the mails containing the codes before Mewtwo is released or after.
Can someone contact the bug N and ask? I'd really like to know. I'm sure this won't be classified info. I'd do it if I wasn't at work right now. Call the 1800 number!

It is an interesting match up. Mewtwo now has a real counter to projectiles, such as Pacman's Fire hydrant and standard b, but it is hard to tell how well he will deal with people getting up close and personal with him when they aren't being grabbed.

I think Mewtwo's strengths will be in his grab game and aerial combat.

Does your friend have a Smashboards account? We could always use some more people at the Pac-Man boards. It's kinda desolate compared to others.

While we do call ourselves Pac-Mains, it's not that important.

I think it'll depend on his weight as well. If Mewtwo's light, but a large target, then Pac-Man could very well give him a hard time close-quarters and kill him easily. If Mewtwo's attacks come out slowly like I suspect, then Pac-Man might just overwhelm him without his fruit.

You sound like you know how to have a good time, my friend ( ͡~ ͜ʖ ͡°)
Funny story, at a local tourney the other day, I made a joke about how the new "Fox Only, No items, FD" joke should be "Mii Swordfighter, Special Flags, Pac-Land"

Then two guys proceeded to have a $5 best of 5 money match with those specifications. It was interesting to say the least

I'm hoping Mewtwo has some weight to him.

His attack speed seems to be faster than Melee I think but he isn't exactly lightning fast. I think Mewtwo might be one of those characters that if he actually gets a hold of you you're finished, but otherwise he has to play it safe from a bit of a distance.

I'm almost postive he's still going to be light. Will he be Pikachu/Fox light? I hope not. Maybe Rosalina.

Still holding out hope that he's Pit or Sonic weight.

How long did the macthes last? Everyone in my Smash circle hates Special Flags but if stocks are set to 1 then they aren't nearly as frustrating, to some people. I love them tbh.

They lasted pretty long, but the side-scrolling kind of messed up the S-flags purpose (which was my intended joke to begin with)

The last match ended with them both at high % one stock left, one guy accidentally picks up a Special Flag and starts charging close to the blast line. The other guy does nothing, thinking his opponent will die. The flag ended up charging just before he reached the blast line and died, giving him a fresh stock, and the game.

Not bad, Gentlemens' Agreements are fun. If you follow competitive Sm4sh, Keitaro and False played on Gamer once in tourney. It was beautiful.

I saw that match.

It was more glorious than I could have dreamed.

What I do with my brother is play Villager ditto's with Pitfalls on high on Gamer with both of us at 100%. It can get pretty intense

Adam Jensen for Smash Bros even though this Deus Ex isn't on Wii U
If Deus Ex isn't on WiiU, then what was I playing on it last night?

But if the game doesn't exist on the console I was playing it on, does that mean the console isn't real, and Nintendo is just a collective figment of our imaginations?

The other day my friends and I actually decied to play with items on (only the ones that were semi fair i.e. no Gust Bellows), and long story short, I was Falcon about to pick up the last Daybreak part and destroy my friend's existence, but in my haste I spaced poorly and started jabbing and while I wasn't paying attention to the other side of the screen, my friend got a Bullet Bill and rekt me.

Here's how my friends and I play when we're really bored:
-99 Stocks
-Super Sudden Death
-Explosive Items on High
-Hyrule Temple

Been doing it since Melee (when motion sensors wouldn't disappear...RIP )

Man, whose brilliant idea was it to put Gust Bellows in there anyway?
First item of ours to paint gray. Can't stand that consummate bull****.

If you're feeling ambitious, try Brawl Minus. It's actually the best.

From what I remember from the good ol' childhood days, my cousin and I mainly did this:
-25 Stocks
-Pokeballs only
-Invisible Smash (or whatever it was called)
-Big Blue

Good times...

That sounds evil. Really evil.

Back in the Brawl days, we would play 1 HP Stamina and pick Fox/Falco on big stages.

It was like Laser Tag, except you died

Thank you. Thank you for sharing this. I think I love you.
And why isn't motion blur an active feature in Smash 4? It looks sooo good.
