Special flags should be banned

I’m sick of getting players who just have special flags on and it just turns into a super long unfun match

An item that gives you an extra stock or point. Some players turn that item on in their perferred online rule sets to troll opponents or to cheese out wins.

I mean, that’s kinda what you should expect to happen if your preferred ruleset includes items....

Thankfully I rarely ever run into players who have items on since I leave them off, and on the rare chance i do run into them, i make it a point to just self destruct to end the match quick and leave afterwards.

Either way quick play is the worst place to go if you prefer any kind of item matches, since it ties the gsp to all quick play matches, people are gonna find the easiest way to cheese the system.

Just create a lobby, specifically for item matches, you’ll find willing players. And none of the characters taunts are disabled there.

You can potentially get penalized for intentional SDs though.

Either way though the fact that people can cheese wins that easily just goes to show how flawed and exploitable the rule set system is.
