Graphics aren't everything. But since I just purchased a 360 recently, I'm glad that I will be able to play this game! :D

Ew. SC2 was "okay" this is just obscene. :/ I shudder to think of Taki.

They seem to hang down too much. Either she's getting old, or it's just how she's positioned in that stance that makes them slump down. >_>

SC2 was awesome! I bought the GC version because of Link.
I never did play SC3 through... (PS2 exclusive...) but at least I'll be able to play this version! :D

Hmmm boobs...
Well ahem this is nice to see. I pray Lizardman will be in this one as well. Seeing how he was not taken as a real character in the second one. He was more like a guest appearance then.

I think it's just the destruction of the soul edge and/or soul calibur, and they'll mkae another series with a different weapon.

Hey man, don't complain so much yet. Maybe if the online capabilities in T5 Dark Ressurection coming soon to the PS3 work out amazingly, they might add in online in SCIV.

I sure as hell hope they do :)

To be honest, all the negative rep against SC3 is a bit overblown. SC2 may have had a much larger community at its peak, but I think people didn't give SC3 the chance it deserved. And at least over in Japan where it's widely available, SC3: Arcade Edition is quite popular and is basically a glitch-free, better balanced version of the game.

Anyways, I'm definitely excited for SC4, especially since it will be on systems where downloadable patches make fixing glitches and balancing issues really easy. The lack of arcade release still miffs me, but ah well. Here's hoping they expand/tweak the movelists, especially for the bonus chars.

I've only had all nintendo systems (HAD a ps2, it broke), so i could only enjoy (and still do enjoy) sc2 for gamecube. namco made the most money from the gcn sc2 version so they should seriously think about having a sc fighter for the wii. i don't know who but there was a character in sc3 that was kinda like a clone of link.

Nice pic. I can't wait for SC4. SC2 was the best but SC3 wasn't that bad. Lmao at giant female 3d boobs and Taki's nipples.

How much larger can they make Ivy's boobs?
the skys the limit when it comes to gaming ta ta's. it seems like she gained some weight. In the lastest EGM they have artwork from the game and she looks a little chubby. Hey a little meat won't hurt.

I'm hoping Hwang comes back as an actual character in this one. He only really appeared in Sc 1 8not sure about soulblade. second one they simply gave assassin his move set and the third one he made yet another guest appearance, but you could give a custom character his move set using one of the pirate swords. not sure which. I'm also hoping for necrid too.

This is what i'm getting a PS3 for (eventually).
This and Assasin's Creed. I'm a firm fan of all Soul Games, and i'm not going to let Ivy's breasticles put me off.
Saying that, Ivy is one of my favourite characters, that CG art of her, with the blimps really sickened me. She looks like Carmen Electra ate Pammy. v_v
I saw the screens, and it doesn't look 'as' bad, but her face looks a little messed up, she was one of the prettiest characters IMO as well.
Tira's re-design doesn't look that good, and she looks uglier. Maybe it's just me, it'll grow on me.
Nightmare looks stupidly crazy as well, and Siegfried is just.....Sigefried.
It'll be like any SC game really, but with more features, and as far as I know, it may have online too.
Oh, and i'll be getting Soul Calibur Legends too, that looks ok as well. :D

You know, you'd save money buying a 360 and getting this and Assassin's Creed for it instead. Unless you're planning on buying actual PS3 exclusives you're just blowing money.

I'm more used to the PS controller, i've never bought a Microsoft console and don't plan to. Apaarently the Live service is amazing, but I think PSN looks just as good. Um...I'm more suited to the Sony controller, and there's tonnes more multimedia options with it, as well as what I hope to be a strong library of varying titles in future, and Tekken, plus many others. Though Tekken 6 looks a tad dull so far, I must admit, and the 360 seems to be full of shooting titles. It isn't really me.
I hear it's very good, and you get more bang for your buck apparently, and this isn't from fanboys either.
And I heard there's going to be a price cut, no idea about Europe though. I don't know, the PS3 just seems to be the hardcore gaming option for me.
As long as it has titles I like, some fantastic new experiences, a familiar controller, great online, sexy graphics, plays music/DVD and makes me happy i'm not complaining, it gives me what Nintendo can't.
I have no clue what this Blu-Ray thing is though, i'm still kinda in the dark with it. Oh, and House looks amazing too.
I seem to have gone a bit off topic here, sorry.:(

I heard (from gamefaqs...not really reliable, I know) that exclusive characters (ala SC2) will make an appearence in this game again. One for Xbox and one for PS3. Wikipedia also stated that the cameo characters from SC2 might reappear aswell. If I ever buy an Xbox this game is mine, but untill then I guess SCL for wii will just have to tide me over.

I can only hope they revert to the more exact motion and fluidity of SC1. After that (with a significant jump being in the transition between 1 & 2) the controls and animations seemed so much more sluggish.

Once you became used to the system you really appreciated just how s-l-o-w everything was.

I'm also leaning more towards the PS3 version of SC4... Even though I already have a 360 and it's a whole lot cheaper, the PS3 version is the most likely to end up being the tournament standard for a wide variety of reasons... the genre is better represented on PS3, so most of the hardcore fans of fighters will have already picked one up for Tekken, Virtua Fighter, etc. and the PS3 actually has a good selection of arcade sticks + PS1/2 converters.

Anyhoo, definitely super-excited about the fact that Namco-Bandai's using the SC3:Arcade Edition engine as the basis for SC4. Incredibly well balanced and bug free, plus they fleshed out Amy, Hwang and Li Long's movelists. There's no reason for them not to be full-fledged characters in 4.

i'm assuming you have the $650 ready for the PS3? if you already have a 360, getting the tournament version of PS3 is not worth $650. will SC4 on PS3 be 1200% better than the 360? I think not.

and OMG IT'S EX POSTING!

First, they make Ivy look like a granny with 2 beechballs, then they bring in Yoda and Darth Vader because "they fit" (-_-;) and now this....

I just want them to bring Necrid back. I miss him so.
indeed. shame he died. why introduce a character if you're just going to kill them off later in the same game? and i too am getting sick of the "enhancements" on ivy. they'd better kill her off at the end of this one, before it's too late. every game its the same; bigger chest, smaller outfit.
...you know, they should kill off taki as well. and darth vader and yoda? they must be running out of ideas.
