Sorry I Took So Long To Give U Mario's Best Approach

Hi smash community commandlist here. I'm new to the community but I've got valuable info that would make your mario's gameplay even better. I've been watching allot of vids but haven't seen anyone using the approach I made for him. Mario dair as u know owns right? When you use the auto canceling feature of course. The best way to master what I'm about to tell you is to practice this with short hop Ganon's dair. Anyway Mario has a second attack after his tornado either the uair or the nair. When approaching with the tornado against an opponents sheild they would obviously try to sheild grab but because of the small gap between the floor and him Mario has just enough time to input a nair or uair which neutralizes the sheild grab. You must short hop with the dair though.

And because his nair and uair can auto cancel no matter when you do it he can go straight into his AAA combo or an up tilt to start a combo. trust me I've had allot of matches with him and let me tell you this play is 100% safe. One it sucks the sheild down and it also tricks your opponents to open his guard thinking they can move after his tornado. I've made another discovery with the tornado and that it's the best against someone who is about to spot dodge close to you.

Why u may ask because of the final hit of the tornado which hurls your opponent in the air. As soon as they come out of the side step they get caught by the final hit. Oh did I mention that his dair is his best combo starter. After u get caught in the tornado use your second jump and go either into a bair or uair depending on where the opponent DI.

Well that's it for now, I can't give out all my findings cause there is allot more I found out about him but I'm still testing their priority. I've got vids on me and my Mario who I call Movado but I haven't posted any yet so you'll just have to wait.:bee:

The problem with down air approach is that it has very short range, making u very susceptable to counter attack.

YEP down air is not that amazing because your opponent will eventually figure out how to cope and counter your down air

Heh... somebody comes here to tell about his techs and people start talking about his way to write... but yeah, I agree that it´s disturbing to read it now when everything´s in one paragraph with lots of Caps On Letters. Maybe you could use Caps On Letters a bit less next time and separate your text so that it would be easier to read?

Also why not make this threat a discussion threat for Mario´s ways to approach so that it would allow more conversation? Or you could make a guide or a semi-guide if you have lots of information you want to share with others. These are of course only propositions, it´s not my job to decide what you do.

Sorry about the way the thread was posted. I guess I was so excited that I forgot about basic grammar.....

Anyway I read what each of you had to say and I understand what u mean. The dair should not be used openly meaning it must be used in a way the opponent would not get enough time to react. Try using a fireball or two before using this approach. Besides his dair should only be used in Mario's striking range. This is obviously close up because that's what he is a close up fighter who works his way in for the kill.

Try it yourselves in yourgameplay at least once, you'll surely see a change. I'm looking forward to more comments and feedback. Thanks again.:)

I think it's about time I put a video up showing my perfect play I've created for my main character. Later today I'm going to put the video up.

You'll see first hand how important this play truly is.:)

You stalker, you make me sick!
first of all it isn't a "feature" or a "play", SSBB isn't a sport or an OS.
second this is simply jumping while using a dair which is hardly an AT if even a technique at all.
finally if you want a good approach you must plan it for instance whenever I have the time I try and charge my FLUDD. Once you have charged your FLUDD just SHFFL your fireball and FLUDD if you need an exit strategy. (FLUDD is extra powerful if aimed at the opponents head or at the ground if you want the same kind of sweet spot momentum you would get from the opponents head yet you are not close enough)
