Is it wrong that I think it was easy for the Sonic player just because Meta Knight is always hard to play as?
At top level play, the match-up was still stupidly hard. HOWEVER, Meta Knight was overplayed to the point of every little nook and cranny of the character being discovered. Meta Knight is easy to play as, difficult to TRULY refine to be M2K, Nairo, Tyrant levels and etc.

I almost found the MK match-up to be... Fun? Not the right word, but not that bad. Once you know it we have certain advantages that really annoy them that no other character in the game could do. Only character fast enough that could actually punish MK for certain things. Also, springs were amazing at interrupting Shuttle Loop.
Oh, it's not at all.
