Sonic or Mario ?

i know people say "put them on lvl 9 cp on final destination"
But thats the computer
People fights mean that there better not necissarily the characters

But from what you have seen in Brawl
What do you think ??

I say Its an even match
Just because i use Sonic does not mean i do not like Mario

I don't know. I think Mario's probably a little bit better than Sonic. However, they're both bad in this game. *sigh*

I prefer Sonic, mainly because of speed and recovery, but Mario is probably better overall.

It's hard to tell really. I haven't versed any good mario players as sonic.
But I've been playing a lot of mario as well so based on that, probably sonic.
Not being bias, with the right prediction sonic can SD over fireballs and the cape.
Although mario's smashes go through a lot of sonics attacks AFAIK.
In short it depends on the player. A predictable sonic will roll straight into
fireballs, cape and will get gimped easily but with good mind-games Sonic could easily
defeat Mario.

You can't include mind games into it (a lot of Sonic's game).

Sonic and Mario don't fight.

The players use them to fight.

They will play them a certain way to achieve success.

The Sonic player will use mind games.

I say it varies on the people playing. Imo, any character can beat any character and tiers aren't really necessary. Depends on the way the characters are used and the knowledge and decision making of the players.

reason it just feels...off slightly. It's just a feeling but one
character seems to have some advantage over the other.

Most people on the Mario and Sonic boards agree that the match-up is even to 55:45 slightly in Mario's favor.

The only thing that makes Mario seem worse is the lack of hitstun and even that hasn't really hindered him as much as people like to think.
