Some questions regarding Zelda :o

Ok I have a few questions and doubts about Zelda :

Question 1.-Does Zelda has invincibility frames on her throwing animations??

Because I was training as zelda VS Snake, so Mr. Snake thought it would be funny to F-smash Zelda, but first he takes out a granade, so i grab him, his granade drops, i use Zelda up-throw but the granade explodes damaging Snake but not Zelda, she didn't even got that fire thingy you get when hit by an explosion, zelda remained the same, at the same moment i up throwed snake, the granade exploded, Zelda didn't receive damage but snake did so 0_0

The same with Zelda's Forward Throw, I grab snake while he is controlling Nikita, i throw him at the same time Nikita falls on us, again Snake damaged, Zelda not (or maybe she did get damage, but did not get the fire thingy) please explain if this happens with all the grabs in the game

Question 2.-How long does Love Jump goes 0_0?

So i was Zelda obviously against a Lucas, we were fighting each other (duh :laugh:), anyways,
as you see in my little diagram :3 Lucas uses PK Thunder, and directs it towards me, i get hit (i think) by the tail so i start tapping Nayru's Love franatically to stop his PK thunder :p (whoops) yeah, ok then Nayru's love activates Love jump and Zelda slides very fast and goes off screen 0_0 i almost got killed using Nayru's Jump :O i mean, i know love jump gives some vertical and horizontal distance but literally from going half-final destination to off screen O.O please explain

Question 3 and last .- Does Zelda regains her Up-B on certain parts of FD?

Here are some diagrams :3

I don't know if Zelda appeared beside the ledge and recovered her Up-B or Zelda reappeared at the ledge and dropped instantly uppon reappearing 0_0

She reappeared under the lip and regained her second jump and Up-B 0_0

#3 is well known, actually. you can aim FW and teleport from the middle-ish to just off the edge, perform a bair/fair with the ending lag of FW, and then recover. it could be a useful edgeguarding technique, but i'm often to scared to try it. if you miss, it's death.

But when zelda was performing this she was not on stage :O
She was in the air, i'm sure you can't edgeguard from below the stage ;_;

#1 is also well known:

when two characters are locked (one grabbing the other) the higer controller port is invincible (or maybe just flinchproof... I can't recall.)

#1

The one that is being grabbed takes the dmg. I know cuz my brother always gets hit when he's grabbed by a CPU and I try to use Din's to damage them both but only my brother gets hit.

#3

I'm beginning to think Zelda can Teleport Cancel from whatever direction, just as long as she hits a certain point on the edge. This will be very useful since FW has some ending lag, but again, the spacing is cruical so I doubt it'll be very useful.

EDIT: I find your diagrams very amusing XD

This needs more examination, too bad we don't have enough dedicated Zelda users to help out with this, but I'm sure we can figure it out. Teleport Cancel could be a real possiblity & something very useful to learn.

yeah... that's happened to me too... I think NL seems to ... kinda.... decrease aerial friction.

and after it happend, I got Raph to keep sniping me.... but we couldn't repeat it on command.

Diagram 1. Love Jumps can make you travel the distance of a full horizontal FW. You must have been DIing away, and release before hitting B. Test it out on spikes. Flick the joystick left or right, RELEASE, then love jump as usual, and Ta Da... you'll be flying of the screen.

2. I think all thath happened was that you ledge-warped. That would explain everything. If you don't do anything after ledge warping, you simply fall, with a second jump and FW available.

3. The only thing that could possibly explain that is that they hit you lightly just as you re-appeared. Then you FWd again. It's two different directions, and FW doesnt bend. You must have done it twice.

OMG! I didn't know you could ledgewarp even if you weren't on stage :O
Because everytime i did this i was below the stage (yeah, BELOW) and/or offs creen :O
*is now trying to master ledgewarping from the air* ^^

OMG! at Super Love Jump, you could recover using Super Love Jump and Farore's Wind :O
*now thinks Zelda has an amazing vertical and horizontal recovery* :3

I once saved my Zelda by using Nayru's Love :D
Because Jigglypuff used a charged rollout and the exact moment i got hit by rollout i pressed B and when Zelda was about to die, Nayru's Love activated and stopped some of Zelda's momentum Yay ^^ I won the match thanks to that :D

And thanks for answering question 1 guys :D I never minded controller ports, but i guess i'll do it from now on ^^

So does that mean you were hit after using FW and then regained your 2nd jump?

teleport cancelling from whatever direction you want is a cool trick if true ;~;

Pretty Nice video :D
But in the video after using Farore's IN the air, uppon reappearing zelda becomes dead weight and she enters a helpeless state, what happened to me was after using Farore's Wind, you COULD use a second Farore's wind uppon reappearing, so it's double Farore's Wind in the air, she never is on stage :O

I think, as far as anyone here can tell you, any strange happening which includes multiple FWs is a result of two things.

Being hit by even the tiniest thing. (Perhaps he ledge-dropped footstooled? It would make sense that if you can apparantly footstool during it, others can footstool you.)

Or ledge-warps. Aparently this works from any position. I'll make a new stage tomorrow morning with a block in the middle so I can test this ledgewarping thing. I guess it could be possible to do it from off the stage with a little luck.

I recreated #3 by accident when I was on wifi. I was under the FD and FW'd to the edge. Missed, but I had my 2nd jump.

It's just a little below the edge. I did it again on Training mode once and then I never did it again ;~;

In your mind
You could have had something, too bad though. The only thing like that I know is on the ground. And everyone knows about it, I just can't think of the name.
