I'm not sure whether or not I'll ever have the DuckTales cast appear again. It's been years (right before the pandemic IIRC) since they last showed up, and them being TV characters with their own vastly different world to go back to means they wouldn't get nor need much character development.

Epimenides: "In the case of the Fell Star's host, her ability to turn back time is limited. She seems only capable of doing it about thirteen times a day. After that, she can't do it until the next day... though it appears stopping time is its own different thing with no limit on how many times it can be used. However, both seem to take a lot of energy and have one interesting flaw; there's a short moment when using these abilities before the effects come to pass. If you can figure out she's about to mess with him and are fast enough, you can strike her down and stop her from whatever she was about to do.

For the Fell Star herself... I do not yet know how to put her down permanently, despite my best efforts. But I found the next best thing; her Crest Stone, which can be consider the equivalent to a human's heart. From the information I gathered through my previous host, I can tell you it was transplanted onto her current host's own, unbeating heart to grant her life after being stillborn. Without a body to inhabit, not only would the beast be unable to interact with the physical world but you would also be able to kill her host.

However, that is easier said than done, since the ability to rewind time seems to instinctually be capable of activating should the host be killed. This mean that, to even attempt such a plan, you would need to kill her or otherwise force her to turn back time thirteen times within the same day. And she seems more than skilled enough to make it a difficult task for anyone, even myself.

As for my former host... there are no weaknesses to exploit. She took in my powers a little too well and may very well be impossible to slay in most scenarios. Only sheer attrition from someone who cannot die may give her pause... But it would be wise to know her strengths so you may try to plan around that." -he summons his sword- "Starting with the Dual Blade, one of my finest creations. It is a blade capable of piercing through anything should enough energy build up, something which can happen over time as one fights. If its wielder holds another weapon alongside it, it will copy its properties as well. Let a fight against my former host last too long and she'll be able to achieve victory in a single blow.

Unfortunately, she has the means to making a battle last since she also has my ability to challenge fate itself, temporarily awakening to a stronger form which not only severely increases how potent her attacks and spells are but also renders her unable to die no matter what strikes her. And some of those spells are already quite nasty to begin with, such as a black hole which completely ignores all defenses or a rain of spikes which go through armor for powerful explosions.

As if that were not enough, if any of her spells hit you, you are slowed down and any attempt at defending yourself will be nullified. And that is not even going over her ultimate combat technique, the not-so-creatively-named Swift Slice. While it's not a very good name, it is a powerful attack that uses her blinding speed and turns it into pure might. Few have lived to tell the tale of how it feels to be its target...

And finally, she is capable of teleporting herself and a person of her choosing to any place she knows up to three times a day, an ability I've called Shadow Slide. So even if you somehow put her in a tough situation in spite of how absurdly powerful she is... she can simply leave."

-so it seems Shez may be a significantly bigger problem than Byleth... and that's saying something-

For the Fell Star herself... I do not yet know how to put her down permanently, despite my best efforts. But I found the next best thing; her Crest Stone, which can be consider the equivalent to a human's heart. From the information I gathered through my previous host, I can tell you it was transplanted onto her current host's own, unbeating heart to grant her life after being stillborn. Without a body to inhabit, not only would the beast be unable to interact with the physical world but you would also be able to kill her host.

However, that is easier said than done, since the ability to rewind time seems to instinctually be capable of activating should the host be killed. This mean that, to even attempt such a plan, you would need to kill her or otherwise force her to turn back time thirteen times within the same day. And she seems more than skilled enough to make it a difficult task for anyone, even myself.

As for my former host... there are no weaknesses to exploit. She took in my powers a little too well and may very well be impossible to slay in most scenarios. Only sheer attrition from someone who cannot die may give her pause... But it would be wise to know her strengths so you may try to plan around that." -he summons his sword- "Starting with the Dual Blade, one of my finest creations. It is a blade capable of piercing through anything should enough energy build up, something which can happen over time as one fights. If its wielder holds another weapon alongside it, it will copy its properties as well. Let a fight against my former host last too long and she'll be able to achieve victory in a single blow.

Unfortunately, she has the means to making a battle last since she also has my ability to challenge fate itself, temporarily awakening to a stronger form which not only severely increases how potent her attacks and spells are but also renders her unable to die no matter what strikes her. And some of those spells are already quite nasty to begin with, such as a black hole which completely ignores all defenses or a rain of spikes which go through armor for powerful explosions.

As if that were not enough, if any of her spells hit you, you are slowed down and any attempt at defending yourself will be nullified. And that is not even going over her ultimate combat technique, the not-so-creatively-named Swift Slice. While it's not a very good name, it is a powerful attack that uses her blinding speed and turns it into pure might. Few have lived to tell the tale of how it feels to be its target...

And finally, she is capable of teleporting herself and a person of her choosing to any place she knows up to three times a day, an ability I've called Shadow Slide. So even if you somehow put her in a tough situation in spite of how absurdly powerful she is... she can simply leave."

There's probably at least a few if not several more major fight scenes that Chaldea's going to have to confront this arc's antagonists, so Wendy and/or some of the other Gravity Falls characters could be possessed by a Rumor at some point.

There's no reason for them to alter the timeline to a happier ending this time except to create yet another timeline that's unnecessary even for another spin-off (albeit, I still think Ganondorf being stopped early and being killed in the past would still work as a alternate/bonus storyline, whether it's part of the default game or DLC content)-

Touka is meant to be the wealthy daughter of a prison owner who comes around to be smug. Nemu is meant to be the prisoner which is why she has a ball and chain on her ankle and creates Rumors as pawns/other prisoners. Lastly Alina is meant to be the ward which is why she creates barriers to keep people trapped. As you can see it's more explicit in Alina's design.
