Or is it someone who's crossed the moral line above and beyond to achieve their goals? Come now, Ingrid, surely you don't think I'm as evil as the darkness that once lived inside you. What did she call herself? Isis? Yes, Ridley spied on Chaldea during your war with her and told me everything he knew. And what was it she sought? Genocide. Multi-dimensional destruction. Many of your people have faced factions with very similar goals in mind, haven't they? I know how to tell their character. All of them were the same. Weak, simple-minded fools who grew to value so little in life that they simply seek to destroy everything to make up for it. Pitiful.

You see, I might be willing to threaten lives to get from what I want from my enemies or eliminate those who stand in the way of my plans, but I do have standards I have to uphold. I'm not like those dense enough to desire and seek the extermination of all life. What's the point? There are much smarter ways of dealing with the problems of worlds than simply erasing everything or reconstructing it in your own image. And there are much smarter ways of carrying out your plans, whatever they may be. After all, power isn't everything. The masses of all worlds are just, at large, convinced that it is.

With that said, perhaps then, I am a monster, in simply more than one sense of the word.

If you were really as smart as you thought you were, you'd probably figure it out by now. It's none of your business, Ingrid. But what is your business is the current matter at hand. I don't think either your best friend Yukari or your adopted sibling Abigail would like to fight each other to death.

Ford: It's a long story, but I'll summarize it. Decades ago, I discovered a mysterious alien creature with the natural ability to change it's form during my time spent living in Gravity Falls, Oregon. It could make itself look like virtually anything, either something alive and organic, or something completely inorganic and inanimate, so long as it knew what it looked like. I labelled it "Experiment #210: The Shapeshifter". I spent a few years raising it before I realized it had grown hostile after developing into an adult, so I did the only thing I could to stop it: I froze it in a cryogenic tank.

Dipper: Years later my sister and I, along with a couple our friends found the fallotut shelter great uncle Ford built and kept that tank and the Shapeshifter in. It got unfrozen by accident, but we managed to outsmart it in the end and freeze him a second time. But it looks like this Toffee guy must've paid Gravity Falls a visit while trying to expand his army...I know that voice anywhere, and that's definitely the Shapeshifter's. Toffee must have thawed him out.
