The Immortal Monster. Toffee was once the prince of the Septarians, lizard-like monsters who possess incredible natural healing factors. Like all other monsters, they had been treated poorly by Mewni for millennia, which was one of Toffee's main reasons for his hatred of Mewmans. There came a time where Queen Comet Butterfly hoped to bring mewmans and monsters together, but Toffee would not accept peace. A monster general at this point in time, he went rogue and, along with his troops, assassinated her just as she was about to sign a peace treaty between mewmans and monsters, seeking to make monsters reign supreme.

However, his treacherous victory was short lived. Shortly after Comet's death, her daughter Moon Butterfly cast a great dark spell on him; the spell severed his right hand's middle finger, and also cancelled out his natural healing factor, ensuring it would never regenerate. This was something no other spell had ever been able to do to a septarian. This event destroyed Toffee's pride, frightened off his army, and ended the war, but sparked a powerful grudge within the lizard, as he spent the next several decades playing the long game, to achieve goals yet fully known, revenge being merely one of them.

His exact wish is unknown. In the past, at least, he wished for monsters to have full control of Mewni once again.

The time it takes varies between individual septarians, but Toffee's healing ability is extremely potent, and generally it only takes a few minutes at most for him to regenerate whatever he lost. It is believed that only the darkest of magic spells can prevent him from regenerating, as was the case with his lost finger.

Traits: Humanoid, Beast.

Notes: Despite his lack of powers beyond strength and healing, he still poses a great threat, owed to his sheer intellect. Went into hiding for years after losing everything thanks to Moon Butterfly, but recently resurfaced to enact a plan to destroy Star's wand, usurping Ludo's castle and minions, and negotiated with other organizations to help carry it out, striking many of Chaldea's weak spots to keep them from interfering, and also providing backup power to his army. His allies included Rita Repula and her forces, and several EX-Shadaloo members. His plan succeeded, but was caught in the dead center of the blast when the wand self-destructed. His current status is ultimately unknown.

Gemstones always remain when a Gem is poofed. From there, they repair their light forms while in a sort of subconscious inside the gem, before eventually reforming. If Jasper wasn't shattered, and her gem is still intact, she will eventually reform, still a corrupted monster. Unless the gemstone is put in a bubble, also a special kind of thing Gems are capable of. As long a gem's gemstone is in a bubble, they can't reform.
