I did recall seeing some pages saying that BotW got some official placement on the timeline, but wasn't sure how true the info was......dang it, wasn't expecting to find out that even Nintendo doesn't have an answer for it yet, lol.

I once figured it'd have something to do with the Wind Waker's timeline, considering the Kororks reappeared (and most of them legitimately look identical to most of the ones from WW) but now, I have no idea. The Kokiri could've wound up that way through some other means.
