-He tasks Anne with designing and sowing the costume, Sprig with the talent performance itself, and Polly with being Chief Morale Officer. Polly finds said role disappointing and is annoyed, instead wanting to participate in the talent show as well-

-Since Polly has been shown to be a skilled fighter, capable of spitting extremely long distances, and even figured out parasailing in one try, one might think the talent she has in mind relates to one of those skills, but instead she wants to sing. Hop Pop gladly allows her...And she proceeds to just sing "Laaaaaa" at extremely loud volumes. The frist "La" breaks the pencil Hop Pop was writing with, blows off Sprig's hat and his hair back and nearly does the same to Anne's hair, the second "La" is loud enough to shatter the shell of a snail towing a nearby wagon outside along with the wagon itself, and the final "La" is so loud that it stuns two giant flies and a giant bird, causing all three to fall out of the air and the last one to land on top of the frog that was on the wagon-

-Unsurprisingly, Hop Pop says "Like I said, morale" and even gives her an police cap with the word "morale" on it, which Polly begrudgingly accepts-

Day 4 shows him practicing playing the violin/fiddle, day 7 shows him practicing it while being tied to and suspended from the air by a giant ladybug and finally, day 9 shows him practicing while hopping from log to log over a river, carrying Hop Pop on his shoulders and running from a giant beaver that's trying eat them-

-What happens next is a montage of Hop Pop training Sprig in a rather strict manner, even dressed as a sports coach with a cap and sweatsuit and all. A calendar displays each day of work, with the first day consisting of Sprig having to jog at sunrise while Hop Pop blows a whistle, drink a horrible protein beverage that contains a live spider that he hates, day 2 shows Anne making a terrible first attempt at the moth costume and nonchalantly throwing it in the fireplace as a result, while Hop Pop makes Sprig practice his expressions in the mirror, including "Happy cute", "Sad cute" and "Jealous cute", the last one of which Sprig fails at because he doesn't even know what such an expression looks like. Day 4 shows him practicing playing the violin/fiddle, day 7 shows him practicing it while being tied to and suspended from the air by a giant ladybug and finally, day 9 shows him practicing while hopping from log to log over a river, carrying Hop Pop on his shoulders and running from a giant beaver that's trying eat them-

(...Please tell me singing practice was never anything like this...)
