This alerts and startles the creature, who notices her, then quickly runs away like any scared animal would-

-Anne tries to chase after it, saying "Wait! Come back! You're so cool...!", before it finally goes out of sight and Anne stops to catch her breath, saddened she couldn't find out what the creature was. She also fortunately ends up coughing the butterfly out of her mouth- :V

The surviving friend doesn't seem to have the highest paying job, but considered hotel owner considered him his best friend. Finally, the detective notes from his research on the site that some employees believe they've been underpaid, but that's as far as any formal complaints they've filed go-
