Exactly. There's no spirit or organic matter for the Phazon to corrupt, so they aren't at risk of being poisoned or controlled by the parasite..

This is by far our best shot at disposing of the Phazon once and for all.

-Each time, Anne secretly returns one item to the frogs that the toads tried to take, including a :"#1 Mom" mug for Felicia, a wooden cane with a bird face carving for Loggle, and the spider's pet-sized bed, and the frogs as well as the spider are always shown to be grateful for Anne's kindness and sympathy-
