There's a direct follow up to the Transformers x My Little Pony crossover where egatron in hopes to conquer Equestria pulls the ponies into Cybertron but unfortunately for all parties King Sombra followed throug and brainwashes Equestrians and Cybertronians alike, so the remaining Autobots, Decepticons and ponies must work together.

And the last thing I never knew I needed but now need more of would be Rarity and Knock Out getting along while poor Ratchet has to listen to them.

Welp, either the next crossover is going to be darker, or the MLP characters are going to offset it with friendship and silliness.

To be fair, though, MLP is no stranger to dark and serious villains, either. Pretty much every main antagonist in the show is taken seriously, and each new major villain was usually more dangerous than the last. There's a good chance these Transformers villains will be taken just as seriously by both the cast of their home franchise and the cast of the MLP franchise alike.

He originally showed up in Basel looking to fight Sieg, then Chaldea themselves, but he realized he was in way over his head by the time he actually found them. You guys had already made so many members, there was no way he could take on everyone in a direct fight.

So he decided to just curse all of the Christmas presents last year to annoy them instead. It failed, admittedly after a pretty tough fight, but still, I don't think any of us expected that a giant dragon would be the one responsible for trying to ruin Christmas...
