Even if one argues that some characters are still missing, the final product is freaking amazing. I don't see Smash ever outdoing this entry.

There still are some holes, but having future games fill out these holes could just make those games worth picking up after the madness that is Ultimate. Crash for a 90s dream matchup between him, Mario and Sonic is a good example of that.

I think the first game is a simple but effective story, then Nomura decided to crack things up right after because.... He felt like it, I guess. Still I'm fascinated.
