She reveals it was to sate world hunger: The White Whale was big, so its meat would last, and the Great Rabbit as it can multiply indefinitely, is technically an infinite source of food. Still he brings the nature of demonic beasts and what they've done!-
-Her reply? That it would be unfair for them to not be able to fight back. Survival of the strongest, and asks if he's considered what it'd be like t be eaten without the concern of the other party-

And of course he met Minerva, the Witch of Wrath too. In any way she asks if anything Daphne said was useful. Yeah, he's learned that compared to the other witches. Echidna's the most normal. She's flattered and says "aw stop~ flattering will get you nowhere" as she serves tea and cookies. He says "man, you can really read me"-
-In any case, he's not up for it, and says even if she's the most normal, he can't fully trust her either-
Medea: "Smart..."
-But then he gasps, feeling something and spilling the tea-
-She says something must be waking hm up outside, subaru knowing it must be Emilia, which reminds him, isn't Echidna the examiner for the trial? So why is she here by hersef if she should be looking after Emilia? After sipping some tea, she replies frankly, the result was already on sight, he wonders what it means, but she says she's not interested in seeing her, after all she had three days to break out her shell and failed... So he suggests to Subaru that maybe he could take the Trial instead of the cowardly princess-
