so today at work i was serving main course and this one ***** had this huge spider on her shoulder
by huge i mean ****ing huge
i'm not exaggerating
like this thing was deff top 7 biggest wild spiders i've seen
anyway
the spider's not bothering me and i know if i tell this women she's gonna freak
so i ignore it
but right before i walk away, i see the spider jump off the woman's shoulder and onto the table
the other women at the table immediately see the spider and everybody starts screaming and ****
again, i go to walk away
not my problem
then, in the sassiest ****ing voice you can imagine, this one ***** goes
"uh are you gonna do anything about this???"
which caught me off guard
cause yeah i'm her waiter but i'm not the ****ing spider exterminator or something
like wtf you want from me hoe
anyway
so they're all looking at me and i'm just like "uhhhhh"
like 6 seconds pass
the table is silent and still
the entire time every set of eyes is intensely bouncing back and fourth between me and the spider
who's gonna make the first move
then BAM
the ballsiest little girl, she had to have only been like 6 years old, comes out of no where and nails the spider with her shoe
this little girl was not from our table
she was not from my section
i had never even seen her before
she just came out of nowhere like a ninja in the night
she didn't say a word or even glance at a single one of us
she just waltzed up to the table, killed the spider, looked at its twitching legs for a moment or two, and then walked away never to be seen again
at this point, the women at the table and i all look each other in equal awe
nobody said a word
it was even more silent than when the spider was still alive
but there was something different about about this silence
it was like we were all connected by this unique and creepy thing we had just witnessed
i suddenly felt like i knew each and every woman at the table a little bit more
like we shared some sort of bond
the whole thing was without a doubt one of the strangest things i've ever experienced
