that time i was 17, drank half a bottle of whiskey with this girl, blacked IN while i was hooking up with her in front of everyone and then watched as my friend hooked up with her (all the while me thinking this chick needs to clean herself down there) then i feigned sleep while an orgy happened all around me in a dingy ass bedroom in a trailer park (in the bedroom of this childhood girl my friend and i both tried to get with, who lived in the woods in baltimore before meeting some dude and getting knocked up), and then had to figure out why her heart and breathing kept stopping (it was from all the lines of xannies she was railing) then when i tried to escort her to her car she told me she couldn't go home yet cuz she had to go to the airport in a few minutes to pick up her husband who was in the marines and coming back from afghanistan that late morning

that's not really my best story - i could tell you about the bloody walls with my ex or when i did shrooms for the first time and bugggged, but it is my go-to.

i've only been to one party with alcohol. and by party i mean like six of us were without adult supervision for a few days. most of them only had one drink during the first night and i had water instead. we played smash most of the time and went swimming at some point over the next two days as well.

i totally forgot about it but you're right
i taught one of them how to play Frognarchs at like 3 AM. none of the people in that group are really into the game, but i also played it against myself a few times in a corner after other people went to sleep if that counts as exciting yugioh adventures

eventually 6 am rolls around and the only ones up are me, jacob, mark, and rob

we finally turn off smash and get ready to go to sleep

after about 10 minutes of silence in steve's dark ass basement i'm finally ready to pass out

but right before i leave this realm i hear some drunken words stumble out of mark's mouth

"cobr, turn on the stream, you and i are having a 12 character battle"

I don't have any good stories. Any interesting stuff that could've happened to me at any point has always been interrupted.

For example: I've almost been kidnapped twice, I almost got hit by a car once, I almost got arrested once, a bunch of other things.
Though my friends and I once broke into a huge unfinished house (not a mansion, but it was huge) that had been left there for years because the owner was arrested for drug trafficking. We broke into the house the day it was scheduled to be demolished and we didn't even know. That's the day we almost got arrested lol

I swear the only bad thing that's happened to me to the fullest extent was having to stay after school one day to mop the floors at catholic school. (just in case anyone wants to be funny, mopping the floor isnt a euphemism for any type of sexual assault)

in terms of stories, nver been drunk or high, never really did drugs since cigarette smell bothers me more than anything but formaldehyde. closest thing was almost trying an apple flavored hookah at my egyptian cousin's house. not sure why. though they called it a shisha

though in terms of drinking i love good beers, a person tried to get me drunk numerous times but we kinda ran out of alcoohl (my body is stupid tolerant.)

favorite beer is from canada, it's called la fin du monde by unibroue.

eikellman is a big fan of brewz also

otherwise, havent done much outside of travelling, no "extreme excursions"

steve got me into Weyerbacher and then i discovered Stone and Great Lakes. and i love them all.

What up dudes, I'm commentating Zenith, only problem is I took like a six month break from like November to May of last year--from the boards as well as from the game. So I'm behind. I'm tryna have a lot of background info on player matchups, but I don't know a lot about what happened in that period, so if you remember anything (someone beat someone somewhere, something exciting happened in the community, really whatever) please do post it or PM me.

A lot of the new documentary/evo melee players will be watching top 8, and a lot of them like 64 better but assume that there is no competitive scene or that melee is the only game that's fun to play competitively. We should try to snag some of them. Stuff like player rivalries or interesting matchup history tidbits is what will draw them in, because they're not going to understand the nuances of high-level play right off the bat. That's why I'm asking.

Thanks a bunch. And yeah ideally a bunch of us'll get a chance to do commentary especially on saturday, 64 has too many great personalities (I'll never forgive chain ace for losing tank and ballin's stuff from 2013)

Whoever wants to do Sunday on the main stream should clear it with the apex/zenith people beforehand, I think they decide that pretty well in advance.
