BTW Kero, "cheap" or "repetitive" tactics can be useful. You have to find beauty in the set-ups and small things sometimes, if you want to get good.

as bad as this is going to hurt im going to swallow some pride and admit i came off way to strong and got off onto the wrong foot. i really dont know what to expect when i get to apex or when i play online. but i can promise you im not going to be someone who shows up online, gets destroyed then leaves. if i get beaten down badly online im not gunna stop training. i have the determination i just need the experience. sorry to anyone that i offended. my arrogance has made me too many enemies too fast and im looking for a fresh start. im not looking to make enemies im looking for some friends on here an occasion talk some **** but my trash talking career started a little too soon before i could back it up

I'm honestly not that good (sheer is slightly better than me), but I'm pretty good against ness since I happen to live in the same town as one of the best ness players.

Everyone on this forum who plays online (except malva probably) has had their ego crushed after they started playing online.

It's happened to all of us. It happened to me 6 years ago but now I'm the one doing the ego crushing because I love the game and was determined to get better.

Good ol' Smash drama. I'm glad new people keep on coming out of nowhere and still repeating the same process, it's still just as fun as the previous 50 who tried that.

I wish you luck Kero, though, and don't worry about Sheer he's just a scrub and Yoshi sucks, you got that. He might want to go Fox afterwards but all he does is lasering so you just have to downB and you should be safe.

Sheer- It didn't happen to me, actually. I basically figured "Gee, there's gotta be someone better than me out there" and looked up Isai vids and was astounded. Of course, I'm still every bit as arrogant as anyone on this forum nowadays.

Kero- I probably won't come to Apex. I'm in high school- missing school is hard, my parents are hella strict, and NY's a hell of a drive. I try to hit all the Midwest tourneys, but east coast? not until a year or two from now.

Infamous- check the Index- it's stickied. Look through it 'til you find the emulator, then fiddle around 'til you get it working and ask questions when you get stuck.

I'm also interested- once you figure out how bad ness is (and you will) will you drop him for a good character, or struggle against your limitations? Or, to put it a different way- will you realize that you're ramming into a dead end and adapt to the level of play, or continue to do the Peek out of a misguided sense of honor/loyalty to ness?
