I have exactly 99 private messages, so it kinda looks like it says "gg" at the top of my page all the time.

So, continuing the "Smash tournement" thread-

Kero can shieldbreak with ness DJC's? Pretty damn impressive. He might not be that scrubby after all.

SK, you did pretty good. I'll sandbag and lose to him so that he'll MM you and lose everything. I get 10%. Deal?

I'm kidding, of course

Shieldbreaking online is much harder than on console because of that dirty delay. I've only legitimately done it twice online, but I can do it on console a good 50% of the time anyone shields. But maybe that's just me? I GUESS WE'LL HAVE TO SEE HOW THE ALMIGHTY KEROKEROCOLA FARES vs. BATTLECOW

I don't play ness, but other than Firo/Frogles (peek could do it too, I assume, but I can't remember him ever doing it for some reason) I've never had my shield broken by a ness. Most of the guys who claim to be best in the world don't even know what a DJC is, so it's a step up, is all I'm saying.

Also I got this. Ness is EZ.

Sounds good. You'll probably lose whether you do it intetionally or not, though :troll:

inb4 kero is tigerbombz or something. Or me. That would be quite the plot twist, wouldn't it, my bovine friend?

Nah. You're not this good of an actor + your ness couldn't beat me

And Tigger would get too high of a ping

Speaking of which, I hope Kero doesn't lag. Kero, make sure you have wired internet.

Any kind soul wanna point out a way to figure out which are quarterfinals, semifinals, finals, etc.? Also, how can we figure out who's playing in each match?

Use Google translate.

I agree with ballin when he says breaking shields with Ness is easy - even online. And I don't think being able to do so makes you a good player.

We do have one instance of a kid who is completely outplayed by most people, but can break shields with Ness.

I don't think he can do Falcon U-Air combos.

So school's been taking up a lot of my time and I haven't been able to get on to Galaxy too often - hope its still in good order.

In one of my classes we are learning the MIPS assembly language. The professor had a slide showing where it is used, and one of the pictures he had was of a N64. I thought that was funny.

Also Battlecow/Firo in house matches on Monday - should be fun.

Harder than you think. I can see through lies like a seismograph. Or is it lithograph?

Also you couldn't touch me with ness. No chance.
All right, then tell me if I'm telling the truth or not in the following statements. Yes or no will do:

1. I was born in Moscow.

2. I have a "Don't get hit" T-shirt.

3. I have two cats.

4. I went to three different elementary schools.

5. I'm 170 cm tall.

6. I've been to Russia.

7. I've been to South Korea.

8. I've been to Ukraine.

9. The first game I played was a Sonic game.

10. The first game I played was a Mario game.

I guess that'll do for now, although I can do so much more. What will you do now, Battlecow? Weasel out of answering, or try and inevitably fail?

My Ness would wreck your Falcon.

Star King. You fail to see Battlecow has tricked you and made you waste your time.

A seismograph cannot do anything in relation to falsehoods, unless you cause platonic plates to shift every time you tell a lie. A lithograph, being an engraved limestone or hard granite tablet, would be similarly useless in finding lies.

The correct term was polygraph.

the number of keyboard warriors is dwindling...

Polygraphs are unreliable.

Hmmm, I probably did better than a polygraph.

I'd trust a polygraph a bit more than ****ing seismograph to determine if someone was lying.

It's not hard to shield break with ness, even online ...
I only said it was harder online than on console because of delay. I didn't say it was objectively hard. I don't really go for too many shieldbreaks online because I'd rather just take the free grab.

I used to main Ness until I got tired of getting gimped for the millionth time. He's fun in teams, but if I'm doing a serious match there's no way I would use him. Props to Peek for staying strong.

Anyways, I hope this Kerokerocola guy is for real and he plays bcow soon. We can always use more players

This diablo guy didn't seem to think he was better (or at least he was smart enough not to say it). He just thought the love Isai got was a bit much.

But eh, I don't see why he cares, really, unless he's got ColtMaster syndrome. IMO it's not a bad thing, even when it gets silly and hyperbolic. It doesn't hurt anyone.

I was reading some of the old old posts today, and back in like '04 Isai was really fun. Mow or whoever was all "You're good, but I've seen better" and he was all "Tell me who and I'll **** them for you." *****es would brag and he'd go "MM?"

I guess you just get numb to it over the years.

And SK... I'm reading a .2 on the Richter scale. Might be interference from that quake y'all had a week ago or w/e if I'm off.

I like the plague mask too. If you check out the first top comment, Tom Banwell, the guy who made the mask, sells them at Etsy. There's a more streamlined steampunk styled plague mask in page 5 if you're interested.

Oh, c'mon, aa, you gave him a way to weasel out

I knew the instruments he used were incorrect, but what matters was the point he was trying to get across

I wanted to see him at least attempt it

You're much more of a hindrance to the empire of the stars than battlecow and ballin, I swear

Oh well, it doesn't actually matter. The point was that I would be able to fool Battlecow with an alt, so mission accomplished.

T F F F T T F T T F. A$ got 6/10.
