I heard the allisbrawl ladder is sponsored by the backroom and i see a few players signed up but theres never anyone in the match-making chat. Whats up with that? Im always ready to play on either ladder, so if u wanna play just hit me up. Also, having the competitive events on the first page would help the smashboards ladder, i dont think most ppl on the site even know about it.

yeah, the galaxy64 ladder dropped off pretty quick, and AiB was never REALLY supported by the BR, what could we have really done with it.

That said, he has to actually play for his belt if he wants to keep it. I can think he's the best even if he goes to Peru and never wins, but "officially" or whatever (not officially but you know what I mean), we have to cede it to Galan. Basically, America loses it's pride to Peru.

Sucks :/ But I think he'll play "real" matches with everyone at some point. Maybe.

Just noticed that sabergaming donated money to melee singles + teams and brawl singles + teams, but not 64 at genesis 2.

I ofc expected 64 to get allot less because of the attendees gap. But 1000-2000 compared to nothing sucks >=(

Yeah, actually, I can kind of see them not donating anything to 64 though, sad to say. I mean, a hundred bucks or so would've been nice, but we had fewer than 20 competitors... at least they kind of acknowledge us, which is a good first step.

I'm still ballsacks on console so I gotta hit that hyperbolic time chamber once again just in case any of them are good/play kirby.

when I was playing 64 at a NC regional he came to he saw me playing he challenged me to a money match (I believe he said "money match my samus") but when I accepted he just sort of walked away.

Come to think of it, M2K has to be the greatest all around smasher for all 3 games. You might have a shot bcow, 64 is his weakest game. You should use my new but untested anti kirby strategy: kirby dittos. If it works let me know, I may develop a kirby simply for the purpose of countering kirby.

Boom, have you played him?

There's also a world of difference between "Able to consistently beat battlecow on console with kirby" and "as good as Nintendude." And, given how good he is at Melee+Brawl, some level of natural talent is expected (although I guess he's an 'effort' guy, not a 'talent' guy?). That said, if he hasn't played online or with anyone good, he can't be THAT formidable... unless he is.

And yeah, I've tried kirby dittoes. Unpleasant as hell, and you still lose 'cause they're kirby mains and you're dabbling. I'll stick with pika on PC, DK on Hyrule, and Doug on Congo.
