Sorry to change topics here, but can I say that Turbo is probably the best Twist Villian Disney had? It's all because that he had a lot of build up, "Going Turbo" was used all over the film, Turbo himself was explained in a quick back story, King Candy was already implied to be evil after the scene where he went into the game's code, the real twist was more that Turbo was still alive than him being a villian, since we already knew that Turbo was a bit of a **** with his backstory.

I kinda think Wreck-it Ralph might be a perfect movie, definitely the best recent Disney Animation Studios movie.

And that's coming from someone who aldo really likes Frozen.

Tbh, I feel like that movie had the most effort put into it out of every modern Disney film. A lot of them kinda played it safe with the same tropes Wreck it Ralph used.

You tried to help, that alone means you aren’t useless. Even if there isn’t much you can do, being there to support them helps a ton.

I don't think you'll find a direct confirmation, maybe I'm reading into more than I should, but I'd say it's pretty evident that Japan suffers from a form of Center of the universe syndrome.

I genuinely feel like Pac-Man is one of the most overlooked characters in Smash. Nobody talks about him or even remember he's there and the franchise's presence in Smash is minimal. I don't remember the last time I met someone who was like "oh yeah, Pac-Man is my FAVORITE Smash character!"

Not saying he shouldn't be in the game (in 2014 I might have given you a different answer), it's just kinda odd how overshadowed he is.

Well Pac-Man IS my FAVORITE Smash character and I agree, I wish he wasn’t so overshadowed.

Because Lilo is the wrong ethnicity in their eyes, so they made a new, "better," Japanese Lilo for Stitch to be best friends with.

God forbid a main character should look Hawaiian when they the setting of the film is freaking HAWAII.

I was against Pac-Man in Smash 4 because... *checks notes* the character is a nothing with no personality and nobody cares about besides the original classic arcade game. I totally wasn't deflecting because I was frustrated at K. Rool and Ridley being no shows. Not at all.

In retrospect it's all very silly. But Smash 4 speculation was not a fun time for me.

There could’ve also been some ways to work around the whole eating ghosts gimmick from the 3DS stage too, but nope we get MSPaint Land.

And obnoxious stage layout, at least Mushroomy Kingdom and 3D Land was zoomed out well enough and 3D Land had a couple parts where it resembled a standard stage to break up the moving

You're not doing anything wrong. Speaking from experience, sometimes there isn't anything you can do. Emotions and psychology are immensely complicated. There's a reason that, despite these things having been a field of study for about a century, we still are pretty clueless as to how it all works. Everyone is unique, and what helps one person feel better won't always help someone else feel better. Sometimes, someone just needs someone to talk to and provide some friendly support, and that's it. But for some people, all the support and acts of kindness in the world won't budge their emotions.

The best people to trust with helping with those kinds of issues are professional psychologists who understand all the invisible components at play and can put together a more holistic understanding of people's problems. The trouble is that being able to go to therapy, finding a therapist that's good for you, and being able to attend sessions for weeks and months isn't always easy. Because those resources are unfortunately not always accessible or a good fit for you, and it takes time to build a relationship and understanding between the therapist and patient and be able to unpack the issues in an accurate way.

So the best thing you can do, depending on whether this person is online or someone close to you, is to help them find a therapist, clinic, or some other resource that they can go to and that can help them with their issues. You're doing your best, but you're not a trained psychologist who can diagnose and attack the problems that go on in the mind. Sometimes, the best way to help is to simply direct people to a place that can provide better help. Beyond that, all you can do is pray.

This is, of course, speaking rather generally, so if I'm off the mark and not being helpful, feel free to disregard.

I like him a lot though. And his trailer had such a banger theme. Maybe it's because he's such a simple character people aren't as attached to him like the other third parties?

Seriously though...how do you NOT have a maze-based stage with Pac-Man?! They should’ve just made a new maze stage if they couldn’t get the gimmick to work, and you’d think they could’ve made the player glow their color while the ghosts have a corresponding outline or something...
