I thought it was like, Hitmonlee is our primary and it’s all male, and we need a female alt for it to breed with (didn’t know about egg groups att) so.... she’s Hitmonchan.

EDIT: Personal preference, not talking about meta viability or anything

Hitmontop always confused me as a kid. I was like "Does it have 3 legs?" Then I saw in some game, forgot what game, where it gets on its legs when it faints and I was like "H u h ?"

im not talking about the chan honorific, Im talking about the fact Hitmonchan is half named off of Jackie Chan. This pokemon is fine the way it is, it doesnt need a needless female version just to have a female version

Azurill can technically change gender when it evolves IIRC, as it and Marill have different gender ratios

Is it wrong to want to be able to completely customize your Pokémon? Obviously it wouldn’t work on mons with a 100% gender split, but anything with a split... I’d like to be able to have an all female team.

Look, no offence, but no thank you. If you want an all female team, catch all the female pokemon of the certain type you want at the time. If they have a male- female ratio, then the female pokemon exsist already

But that’s luck based. There’s no way to guarantee it. Maybe if you could set which Pokémon show up in random encounters? Not like, specific Pokémon. But just like, type and sex.

It seemed like it was way easier for me to get female pokmon in sun and moon then male. Every pokemon I ran across was a chick

Like I get they’re not 1 to 1 with real life pets, but I wouldn’t get a sex change for my dog just because I want it to be female. That seems messed up.
