Spiderverse and the first Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs are the only movies they've made that I'd recommend.

Everything else ranges from "It was sorta okay." to The Emoji Movie.

Ok, look. I don’t want to see a dance scene in this movie... But all I’m sayin’ is that if they include Jump Up Super Star! in a clever way that actually makes sense, then I’ll be so happy.

They fall flat in many areas, but Illumination’s business model is to make films as cheaply as possible, they make films with a bare amount of effort and they have no artistic integrity. They just blend together with how similar they are visually.

To distract myself I hit up TV Tropes after rediscovering those creepy ass PS1 error screens and the accompanying “music” and I kinda regret missing out on Pokémon games to now

I love how Alpha Sapphire’s Heavy Rain theme gives off a slight sense of urgency but Omega Ruby’s Drought theme in contrast is OH GOD OH **** WE GONNA DIE: The Song

Also I kinda wanna check out the Thief series and Darkest Dungeon. I have Thief 1 in my Steam library as a gift from a friend.

I’m also debating returning to streaming on twitch cause I haven’t done that in months, but I worry I’ll fail to catch an audience again with how my pc has heat problems with some games... my last PC (RIP) didn’t have that, and I feel without an audience I can’t do stuff to engage them so I don’t bother with stuff like chat games and stuff

Idk. I’m just rambling here

Oh also I’m often forced to go micless due to the pc being in the same room as dad, who’s often asleep. Which... doesn’t help. I had better viewership and engagement pre-August 2017
