There's only a maximum of 10 days left(21st-31st) of when Hero will be released. Finally this temporary insanity can finally end soon!

Here’s a quick PSA thing: this entire weekend is the 6th annual Vinesauce is HOPE (Helping Others, Playing Everything) charity event! Although donations (going towards PCRF) are the main goal, they encourage everyone to spread the word about the event, whether or not they can donate, which is what I’m just doing here. Today is already the 2nd day of 3, but there’s still plenty in store.

Past and later segments for this charity stream include:
- A wrestling tournament featuring the likes of Todd Howard, a bootleg Hulk Hogan, Danny Devito, Dio Brando, and more.
- Star Fox 64 with a fishing rod for a controller.
- Bad children’s Flash games, including the infamous Pooh’s Home Run Derby.
- Video game corruptions (basically code diarrhea is put into games and it causes random or specific glitches to occur).
- An ongoing bid war to decide on a blind playthrough of either Mega Man X, DKC1, or LoZ NES.

and more.

@Rie Sonomura xD I just looked up that Splatfest you are talking about, and I gotta say...gotta love Team Order and Marina...the artworks just look SO COOL! Also, something odd happened to me yesterday...I saw someone literally traced one of my Ridley illustrations and altered it to use it for their "own" things, in this case it was the drawing I did for Valentine's Day, and this person used it for a crappy looking Samus x Ridley comic...holy dang, I couldn't have been any more angry...but in the and, after a friend talked sense into me, I just let that go, and even more weird, that after that, I could finally doodle the Dr.Rosalina and Ridley idea I wanted to do some days ago...it is pretty rough, but I love it. xD

xD Thank you, kindly! And oh, that? I created and I have had them as a ship for 5 years or so now, I actually have the rough idea of how that even came to be, but its a pretty long story.

True. But the show is also about optimism and always trying to see the good in people. Trying to resolve things peacefully. I don’t think there’s been a single time since the first season, maybe ever, where Steven has been the one who started a fight. It’s almost always been self defense.

Murder is murder. End of discussion. If you kill a murderer, regardless of whatever else they’ve done, you are no better than they are. It’s the basic superhero code that the MCU has spent the last decade of its existence eroding along with the need for secret identities.

I grew up on action cartoons since I came into this world (born in 99). Everything from Batman to Ben 10. That’s just how they work. Sure, one or two villains get redeemed, but it’s almost always depicted as a freak thing that never happens. And you get the whole “side characters stop trusting the main character because they’re willing to work with an ex-villain” plot. Then 2010 came along and pretty much killed the genre of action cartoons. Aside from Adventure Time and Steven Universe (which both only half qualify because of their equal emphasis on humor and “slice of life” stories), I can maybe count on one hand the amount of action cartoons I have seen in the last decade. So your statement doesn’t really apply. There just isn’t a large enough sample size.

I’m not really looking to get into a big ethical debate on Smashboards of all places, but I will say a few things.

Things aren’t as black as white as “killing is always 100% bad.” If someone is killings millions for no reason other than to assert dominance, and the only way to put an end to it is to kill that person, I believe it is justified.

The good guys on Steven Universe have been fighting for what they believe to be right for thousands of years. They will never back down from their position and would die for it if necessary, because it’s their entire worldview that defines them.
The Diamonds have been fighting for what they believe to be right for tens (if not hundreds) of thousands of years. They back down within a few hours of meeting Steven. They change their millennia-ingrained worldview and sacrifice their entire reason for existence, because main character told them to be nicer.

Lapis was never really bad. Peridot turning good was handled well. Jasper even had seeds for a very solid, Vegeta-esque redemption arc (that they just decided to never do).

It’s the way they handled the Diamonds that upset me. If they wanted them to be redeemable in the end, they shouldn’t have made them literal genocidal slave-owning fascist dictators.


And finally, while the show is about optimism, it’s not just about optimism. It’s about rebellion and fighting for what is right.
It’s undertones are very clear. Pearl is born into a race of slaves. Amethyst is rejected because of a birth defect. Garnet (literal walking lesbian relationship) is called an abomination of nature. And they were forced out of a society where everyone is forced to do the roles they were born into, lead by inherently “flawless” beings.

It’s about optimism, but not the optimism that literally everyone can be happy. It’s about the optimism that everyone can be treated equal and be free, regardless of how they were born. And that’s not possible without sacrifice. It isn’t in reality, and it shouldn’t be in fiction trying to represent reality.

I got impatient and kept it lol. Gotta go fast in casual playthrough, goes well with Air Slash flinch hax.

Also had a huge freakout. I use my Pokemon Pearl as my "hub" for gen 4 with hundreds of hours, Pokemon, items, etc. I finished doing some stuff on it and then it turned off suddenly (my old 3DS is susceptile to this if it's slightly banged around). Loaded it and I got a message saying "THE SAVE FILE IS CORRUPTED" and freaked the **** out.

Then it proceeded to load the old save... which was literally just me exiting the trade room right before it already crashed.

Would've been over 12 years of work down the drain.

Oh wow this is already beautiful.

Corrupting is pretty fun, but it can slightly mess up the game. For example, when I shut down the corruptor, everything was normal except for the fact that everyone was on my screen, like how they would appear during a True Pacifist run, but I hadn't finished my run yet. No matter which run I did, if I restarted the file, whatever, they never left the screen. It's weird.

It wouldn't be the internet without some toxic jerks throwing hate at you or a whole group for no reason (or because of trolls in a fanbase that are arguably not even real fans due to a certain render they use, but no let's hate on all the legitimate fans and for some reason let's hate even the polite people), or stealing your stuff.

I remember when someone took my texture pack on a Minecraft website and pretended it was theirs, uploading it as their own; it was a simplistic pack, but I could tell it was mine due to all the textures literally being the same + the pack.png file in my pack was a screenshot I took ingame, and wouldn't you know "his" pack had the exact same image. Same guy was taking other people's packs as well, it really annoyed me; the staff team eventually got him, though.

Ooohhh. Alright, just looked it up. The part where it says "Specifically, the complaint alleges that the joystick on the Joy-Con controllers will automatically register movement when the joystick is not being controlled by the user and interfere with gameplay." has actually happened to me before, specifically on Switch demos at stores, and a lot of em'. This goes for every game, and in Mario Kart 8 you can't even drive at all.

Please. I thought they were just going to have her go “OK” after her little bit at the end of Change your Mind, but I’m glad she’s actually going to get an arc.

There’s a lot of potential with her entire existence being for a lie, with her being created by Pink to fight Rose, who was just Pink staging a rebellion. They can do so much with that.

Yep, I signed onto it when I heard about the investigation. Surprised it was filed immediately after it. I don't expect anything to come from it, but I hope so. Either way, I've spent ~$150 on garbage controllers, and I've been frustrated for the past year. Glad people are finally talking about it, though it's odd that it's only recently gained traction.

Anyway, I’ve been playing UA3 since yesterday. While I am loving the game and plan to pick the Season Pass sometime after Hero in Smash... I need to say that the game can get kind of difficult even on easy mode.

But that apart, I dare to say that it is the best Ultimate Alliance, and would suggest it to anyone who just wants Marvel fun with loads of combat.

This weekend went better than expected more so with the fact that by some miracle I fixed the huge problem in my life I had at the start of the week.

Anyway, I’ve been playing UA3 since yesterday. While I am loving the game and plan to pick the Season Pass sometime after Hero in Smash... I need to say that the game can get kind of difficult even on easy mode.

But that apart, I dare to say that it is the best Ultimate Alliance, and would suggest it to anyone who just wants Marvel fun with loads of combat.
