I think this takes the prize for most unintentionally horrifying film.

So as more English voice actors are revealed for Three Houses, some folks have noticed something that may mean something.

A large amount of the voice actors picked for characters in Three Houses also voiced characters from Genealogy of the Holy War in Heroes. Allegra Clark was Ethlyn, Robbie Daymond was Ares, Faye Mata was Lene, Laura Post was Silvia, Erica Mendez was Deirdre, Cassandra Lee Morris was Julia, Christian La Monte was Seliph, Joe Ziega was Jamke, Griffin Burns was Julius, Ratana was Ishtar, Chris Hackney was Quan, and Abby Trott was Nanna.

In addition to those, Ben Lepley played Saias, who appears in Thracia but not Genealogy, and Cristina Vee (who was the original voice of Edelgard before she was replaced by Tara Platt) played Lachesis.

Granted there are a few important VAs who haven't been confirmed for Three Houses yet, namely Grant George, Brina Palencia, Mick Wingert, Xander Mobus, Nicolas Roye, Robert Clottworthy, and Steve Staley, but that's still a huge amount of FE4 character VAs.

Add in the fact that Genealogy is the oldest game that hasn't been remade, and...well, I think you see where I'm going with this.

Considering how much inspiration they're taking from Genealogy, I wouldn't be surprised if it's the next game in line. It seems like a good way to follow up on the themes and tone set by Three Houses.

I haven't seen the trailer yet; does it really look that bad? Chicago made the transition from play to theater nicely; I figured Cats might make out alright as well.

I just don't have the time.

Though I'm more fit for the VA field if anything, my experience is a bit rusty.

Couldn’t you just make them cgi cats? The reason you put people in cat costumes on stage is because it’s kinda hard to get a real cat to dance and sing. This is a movie, you can do whatever you want. Why make them scary?

I don't have many VO accomplishments under my belt. Most I did was voice over for the protagonist of a small title by a swedish indie dev. I did have a lot of fun playing the character, though, and I even got payed for it so I could get A Hat in Time, a game I've been wanting to play for a long time.

Technically, it isn't that bad. Not yet anyway. It isn't going to be bad until the people who go see it see it in full. Kinda like that Shrodinger's cat thing.

I'm sure it looks weird and all, but if they aren't using CGI, I'm surprised. Kind of wish they didn't do that with some superhero costumes. Spider-Man's FFH suit looks great, but putting a CG coat over it tones it down for some scenes.

That's one reason why I like The Predator so much, the OG costume was mostly built for the film and looks real enough for what it is.

Honestly, I think I'll have an easier time teaching myself than doing a full out casting, so i guess a resource is decent. Thanks!

With all the running I do (and continue doing) hopefully my lungs of steel (hyperbole... maybe) are useful for something else.

Anyway, the reason on why I brough this up was because, in case if you don't know, I'm going to college for animation and game design, as my HS had a lackluster to nonexistant program, and well, if any of my works were to have VA, then I'll take a part of it. I heard VAs have a lot of fun once they get into their roles.

Even if it's just a stupid 5 second meme, I'll be content.

Also, yes, you get very invested in your roles. LOL I had a joke where I was auditioning for one project and was going for two characters. I loved one and hated the other. Got cast as the one I hated and grew to really like them. I guess you kinda relate to characters you voice, more.

: Add the other Phantom Thieves to the victory screen. It just looks empty when only Morgana is there.
