Been hearing rumors (word of mouth) that we may see a July 4th drop for the DQ character. Any basis floating around the internet for that?Only supporting evidence my friend was able to give me was something about Piranha Plant dropping 78 days after release; Joker 78 days of the Plant; and July 4th being 78 days since the Joker drop.
...I think that's what he said anyway. Forgot a bit of the conversation; we were drinking somewhat heavily lol.

Not to mention it would be incredibly ironic considering that DQ isn't big in America and July 4th is one of the biggest holidays in America depending on whom you ask. That's very funny.

I was looking through those Japanese guides you sent me a few months ago, and I see I've gotten the hang of hiragana and katakana in some ways, also probably because watching Japan's Smash scene for so long partly exposed me to it. Now I've been exclusively been posting names I remember using it, but kanji is going to test my memory.
So I'll try to study grammar, expressions and verbs before that. Anything that relates to vocabulary.
Kanji has over 2,000 kanji that is required to know how to read and write in order to be considered proficient. This is the basic Kanji. It’s best to hold off on Kanji until you have a solid grasp on some grammar, vocabulary, and verbs. I would also use YouTube to learn about intonation and pronunciation. If you really wanna start on Kanji though, focus on very basic things like numbers (一二、三、四、五、六、七、八、九、十) or objects or things (犬、木、雨、川、男、女、水、火) (dog, tree, rain, river, boy, girl, water, fire). These are the more easier Kanji to learn and be able to write and recognize. This is a bit more more advanced but I use this when learning kanji https://nirc.nanzan-u.ac.jp/en/files/2012/12/RK-1-6th-edition-sample.pdf
It’s using stories and image-based descriptions to remembering Kanji.
Not sure if this is your speed or not but my wife enjoys watching videos from this YouTuber about Japanese and english languages.
Whelp didn't have any veggie ground beef to make spaghetti. Just threw in a couple of veggie dogs. Its Sunday anyways so figured I just have something quick to make.
Yeah, I hope Mysterio is good. He's one of my favorite Spider-Man Villains. I also hope the movie fixed a couple of my gripes with Homecoming's depiction of Peter Parker. We'll see. Hope you enjoy it either way.
For those of you who are familiar with Final Fantasy 7, am I close to the end? Don't say what I still have left to do; while I'm aware of the final boss battle (not sure who WOULDN'T be at this point), I don't know what's between now and then, and I'd prefer to keep it that way.
I'll spoiler tag it just in case there are others, like me, who are getting into the game for the first time through the Switch version.
I have three of the four Huge Materia, and Cloud has recovered after we found out his true memories. I'm not 100% sure where the fourth Huge Materia is, but I'm guessing that it would either be in Midgar (since it's the one Shinra stronghold that I haven't revisited) or the rocket town where Cid was recruited. (since Shinra's plan is to launch those Materia into space to destroy Meteor)
Also, what's the easiest way to get Omnislash for Cloud? He's the only character that I've got all of the other limit breaks for (Tifa's close, but everybody else is at level 1 or 2 for their limits), but I'm not sure how I'll be able to earn enough points for it in the Gold Saucer's battle arena. I tried playing through that, barely won, got extremely lucky with the roulette (six of the seven spins were the Toad status effect, when I had a Ribbon equipped to negate it), and I only got a tenth of the points needed (roughly 3800, when I need 32000 to get Omnislash) and didn't have any currency left to give it another shot.
I'm stuck wondering how the X-Men are going to look in the MCU. I thought I heard they were gonna be in the Endgame Re-release extra scenes or something? Anyway.
There was this fan-art floating around:
Those are fan-art examples. Now, Wolverine does have an accurate costume in the deleted scenes of The Wolverine.
That is an official example of what I'd imagine him looking like in the MCU.

Only MCU films I didn't like were Captain Marvel, Thor: Ragnarok (Unpopular opinion of mine I know) and Iron Man 3.
While I didn't exactly hate nor didn't like Endgame I found it to be underwhelming compared to Infinity War which I thought was flawed but otherwise entertaining.

captain marvel just seems kind of like a ****, but thats also the comics so points for faithfulness
i think she just needs someone who's on her level. there are plenty of marvel characters to use who are like that. adam warlock is gonna be in Guardians 3, they could always make The Sentry, etc. etc.
What throws me away especially with the film is the reveal of how Nick Fury lost his eye, an once serious scene in The Winter Soldier turned into the butt of a joke made for laughs.
I know said "cat" was an feared alien apex superpredator but its the way it was approached that irks me. If he was in a fight with Goose or trying to save him I wouldn't had minded.
I also didn't like how he was in the film especially gushing over Goose the "Cat".
Hey though to each their own otherwise if there were people that liked the film.
I think there's something to the 78 days theory. If it's true, then the release dates for the 4 DLC characters will be:
July 4th(Hero)
September 20th(Banjo)
December 7th
February 23rd
December 7th is Smash Ultimate's Anniversary and the DLC will be over by February 29th. Considering Banjo was revealed 2-3 months ago in advanced before his expected release, I think the last two DLC characters will be revealed in a final Smash Direct in November-December.
