Every company exists to make a profit. They are not your friend. While game developers themselves may have their own motives, the highers ups and executives want the moolah in our wallets. Make no mistake, they keep us happy and "care" about us, but only because we're the ones who pay for them to stay afloat.

While developers themselves may love the fans, and makes games out of passion, corporations just want the big money. Make the money moves. All of them do, including Nintendo.

My brother takes my microwave burger?

Very well, I'll just have a bath and use the last of the shampoo so you have to go out for once to get some.

Subtle revenge.

I'll on here later.

Any idea how Tangle the Lemur’s abilities could be translated into gameplay in a normal Sonic game.

Like, I did a concept for Sonic Adventure 3 and divided all the current characters into categories. Sonic, Shadow, Amy, and Blaze have speed gameplay (standard Sonic). Tails, Cream, Charmy, and Ray have flight gameplay (SA1 Tails). Knuckles, Rouge, Espio, and Silver have hunting gameplay (SA1 Knuckles). And Omega, Big, Vector, and Mighty all have Wispon gameplay (a combination of strength stuff from Sonic Heroes, Gamma’s segments in SA1, and the Wispon combat of the avatar in forces). Characters using the same broad general archetype with some of their own special abilities to interact with the levels slightly differently. Obviously Wisper would fit in the Wispon category, but I can’t figure out where to put Tangle.

I made my brother cry...

With joy. I got him Smash Ultimate as a late birthday present and it was not from the gift itself but the thought of him and how much I mean to him.

I can picture Tangle having similar moves and concept as the Werehog tbh.

Assuming Covid isn't as bad by next year.

My movies for next year to see so far.

Mortal Kombat
Antlers
F9
Godzilla vs. Kong
Uncharted
The Hitman's Wife's Bodyguard
MCU Spider-Man 3
Black Adam (This might get moved due to filming stopping because of the virus)

Even if theaters opens again this year here I'm not gonna risk it just to be sure so Bill & Ted 3 and Free Guy will have to wait until NetFlix or the drive-in theater unless those get delayed to next year as well depending on a second wave in the fall.

Reminds me. Since Sonic’s Werehog transformation was tied to Dark Gaia’s energy being filtered through the chaos emeralds, I like to think that Shadow also turned into a Werehog and he was just running around all like “what the **** happened!?!” and was even more confused when it was all over.

I dunno if this has already been posted, but just in case it hasn’t, here’s Luigi in-game.
Hopefully they share a tutorial video to mod Luigi into a Mario 64 emulator as soon as possible.

Really want to play as Luigi already.

Good idea. But where would that fit in the class system I outlined? And are there any other characters that could use it if I have her her own class?
Since you don’t have a power category I guess Speed or hunting? You could probably manipulate her tail in creative ways for platforming and exploration.

There is nothing more annoying than trying to find an image you looked at a few days ago and you can't remember what you typed in.

I’d be the same. I’ve been pretty possessive about food ever since I’ve had doctor’s orders to put on weight.
It's mainly the principle of the thing for me.

Like, you know the **** isn't yours so why are you gonna take it? That's just common as ****.

I'm similar as well. Hence why my parent knows for us to not eat some of each others food.

If you are someone I trust or like (friends basically) then I'm willing to let it go. Siblings is a different story.

Similar to the noodle thing the other day when my brother went into my room, opened my snack drawer, looked around and left. I was just sitting there playing.

I'm like what the ****? The food that was bought for me. Each of us three has like two foods each to not touch of each,

This day feels like a One Piece filler episode.

Nothing good or bad is happening and I'm deeply hungry even after lunch.

Hopefully tomorrow something happens.

Alright, here goes nothing. I got another game to recommend today!

Pirate101!
I haven’t made as many references to this game in recent memory, but it’s still a game I want to talk about seriously for once.
Made by the same people who made Wizard101(and also taking place in the same universe & also taking place during the same time frame, meaning something that happens in Wizard101 can affect the events of Pirate101) Pirate101 is a game near and dear to my heart, moreso that Wizard101. Hell I was like 7 when I first started playing, and look at me now! Suffice to say this game is very nostalgic to me.
Similarly to Wizard101, the story is the main focus in this game. However where Wizard101 shined with the overarching plot and arcs while the inbetween quests felt boring and dull, Pirate101 is the inverse; the overarching plot feels dull and cliche(hell it honestly feels like a kid friendly One Piece at times, and I mean that literally) while the stories told because of the overarching plot are where Pirate101 shines, ranging from weird to downright insane.

-old pirate who is immortal due to exploiting a loophole in the laws of death? Check.
-an entire nation of monkeys 1/4 your size hunting you down and declaring you an enemy of the Crown after you bring them the one thorn they had to deal with? Check.
-gathering an old band of legends by your side to take down a large gang plaguing the wild west? Check.

I could go on and on but that would be pretty spoilerly, so not going to.

Deviating a bit into the combat of the game, Pirate101 has 2 main combat types: Ship Combat, and Land Combat.

Ship combat has you sailing the skies( oh yeah did I mention ships sail the “skies” rather than the sea?) and simply walk over to any ole ship.

You fire automatically, with your only choice being to spam the 1,2,3,and 4 keys to use your ship powers.
And if your health falls too low and an enemy ship gets too close? You’ll get boarded and transition to land combat with your ships as the arena. It’s a cool idea on paper.... buttttt....This is where the game struggles alot.

You would think sinking ships gives you regular ole exp, yes? Well not here, because you have Nautical EXP! And by god it is a chore to manage, and it often grinds the pace of the game to a halt. Even if you spend hours grinding naut exp, I found myself consistently being behind the level curve such that I literally could not upgrade my ship at all, and even with the devs changing how naut exp works a few years back that’s STILL the case(although it’s less agonizing now)

Land combat on the other hand... is much better.
You, and up to 3 other companions(crew-mates you recruit along your journey) fight along your side to kill the opposing team, on a grid based board of various size depending on the environment, which you can move around in freely.

You and your opponents take turns one after the other, and special talents can allow you do even do damage during the opponent’s turn, or even outright kill them before they have a chance to strike! Occasionally there will be special conditions you have to achieve in order to win, but most of the time you just have to murder everything in sight.
In total there are 5 classes a character/companion can be:

Privateers are bulky backrow fighters, prefering to send their companions in to do the job while providing backup from the rear. They also get the most companions of any class, although the quality of those companions... is dubious at best. This isn’t a good first class, and I don’t recommend them.

Swashbucklers are the glass cannon class; very swift and agile while also being strong in damage numbers but dies at the drop of a leaf. They’re a decent first pick, but they’re aren’t particularly good at dealing with large groups of enemies.

Buccaneers are the obligatory tank class; dealing high damage with a single swing and often being able to chain attack after attack to obliterate anyone that stands in their way. They don’t get a whole lot of companions though, and they’re again really bad against large groups of enemies so they aren’t a good first pick.

Musketeers are the obligatory ranged class, prefering to attack from afar and has many attacks that affect targets in a shotgun-style area, meaning they’re really good at dealing with enemies. You cannot move and attack at the same time however, meaning that you almost always stay in the same spot every fight and wait for your enemies to get to you.

Witchdoctors, in terms of PVE, are a powerhouse. Give them any kind of spell power buff(and you get a companion that can double your spell power) and they’ll be able to one shot basically any horde of enemies and even drop bosses to half health easily. They’re trash in PvP due to Witch Hunter existing and they have terrible accuracy and dodge(meaning you’ll miss a good 70% of the time) but the downsides somewhat cancel out when you can one-shot entire groups of enemies given an AoE.

I would 100% recommend Witchdoctors for a first playthrough, that’s for sure.

However, there is a teenny, tinnny, little detail I haven’t mentioned yet: The game hasn’t gotten updated in years and story updates are out of the question. Which would be fine if this was say a free-to-play game completely, with no fee, but for $10(with the best deal being $80, which is insane) It’s a big turn off for even me to continue playing despite my nostalgia.
It’s still a fun game, that’s for sure, but I wouldn’t play it for more than a month or two with a membership. Unlike Wizard101 which has years worth of content going from lvl 1-130, Pirate101 can be beaten in under a month and goes from lvl 1-70, with the current ending being rushed to hell and back with a very unsatisfactory conclusion. It’s a very hard sell for me.

Overall the game is really... REALLY... really fun, but after taking the rose tinted googles off, the game just feels a bit... unpolished. The current ending as I mentioned above was rushed due to Development hell and with no story updates planned soon players are leaving left and right. Will I still recommend it? Hell yes. Even if you ignore all of these flaws the game still is enjoyable enough to keep me interested, all these years later. Now I just wait for it’s eventual demise, sadly.

I don’t think I’ll do any more of these anytime soon, but I might have to make a thread or smh if I do. Talking about my nostalgic childhood games is really fun tbh.

Hunting is Probably the best place to put her.

And the power category is combined with Wispons. Vector and Big really didn’t have any special gameplay traits, Mighty’s only thing is that he’s super tough, and I didn’t want to not utilize Omega’s weapons. Thus, Wispons.

Now I just need a new character for speed and flight

I wish I had the guts for this. My brother keeps taking my drinks from the fridge.
Try having your brother take one of your cans of energy drinks and parade it around the house to shame you. I'm like "Why do you care about what I drink?"

I think he would explode if he drank it though. He really hates the idea of them.

As my dad doesn't like them in a fridge (or soda in there) I just keep them in my snack drawer and have it and ice.
