Yoshi can't break blocks or kill Boos in SM64DS, which is total crap. I suspect the only reason they gave him that handicap is because they didn't want the player to break the "Character saves another character pattern" so they had to lock Yoshi out of Big Boo's Haunt for Mario to rescue Luigi. You couldn't find any other way for it to be only Mario rescuing Luigi without nerfing my boi in the process?

Wario may suck, but it makes sense. Luigi may be busted, but it makes sense. Mario is exactly as he was in the original and it makes. Yoshi being removed abilities makes NO sense

David Kaye's Megatron performance is so good in this show. And that's saying something given Frank Welker's typical Megatron showings.
I have to give it to Rattrap as well on the Maximal side.

Overall favorite has gotta be Dinobot though. Sick character.

The battle system is disappointing, (again, even Super Paper Mario's dev team cared enough to keep the EXP and leveling system) but if the story goes far beyond "Bowser is evil and does a generic evil thing in a game where all major characters are Toads", then consider me interested.

Maybe I still ended up judging the game too early after all.

The battle system is disappointing, (again, even Super Paper Mario's dev team cared enough to keep the EXP and leveling system) but if the story goes far beyond "Bowser is evil and does a generic evil thing in a game where all major characters are Toads", then consider me interested.

I feel like we all did tbh. They didn't show enough, and that interview they day before it came out wasn't doing it any favors.

The no EXP bit is a little weird though, because the coins actually serve a purpose this time (inflation hit HARD in this game, and if you don't buy the accesories, you're dying in 3 hits by the 3rd boss), but then the accesories serve pratically the same exact purpose of leveling up (stat boosts that scale as you progress), and your attack scales with the HP UP pickups you can find in the overworld, so like...

They took away leveling up, only for them to add back in leveling up in a completely different way.

I don't really get the thought process on that.

Nintendo's saying it's for "Previously revealed" games. They got the date right, but the info wrong, simple as that.

The biggest question though, why the hell is it 10 minutes? Their investors meeting is coming up and there’s No actual first party titles announced.

How do they plan to handle that?
