So next week is probably reserved for more Pokemon and nothing else?
If the next Pokemon Presents is around the same length, I don't see Nintendo having an issue with it and the ARMS rep showcase being in the same week.

yeah but whiles its cool its back, they dont even match your speed. Your normal move movement is to fast for some and they end up so far behind you the pop out and pop back in behind you or in cinderaces case, they run so fast they slam into your ass and slow down

Besides that, the issue was Isle of Armor releasing this week. It makes sense to make the Smash DLC another week so the sales cannot clash.

It doesn't help it's on the same system. And Pokemon has had issues, so they don't want anything in the way of sales. The next presentation would be a cool announcement for a way later game, with the way it's being talked up. This won't affect anything but add extra hype for the year.

It was confirmed that the only Galarian form is Slowpoke and Slowbro.

Not entirely surprised but a bit disappointing regardless.
That makes literally no sense from a marketing perspective, and from the actual in universe lore. How does the island only give existence to one mutation?

Would have been so easy and when Klara dresses like a Galarian Dustox and they hid their Pokémon in the trailers, I don’t see why they would come up with this idea.

Really hope Crown Tundra has some because otherwise we know literally everything about it and that’s no fun.

But it was a port. It’s not like it was a remake. Play testing the thing was the only thing they had to do at all.

And besides, trilogy only has what, 3 more characters then U3? Oh... right... the bosses.
Bosses also have had issues during Trilogy when being played as. Some you can't bring into Arcade Mode. So they'd have to fix that too.

Don't forget that ports on a system have to make sure it links up right with the controls, and you can still have other bugs and such. So it's not that easy as "quick done". If it makes you feel any better, MKT on the 64 was kind of bad outside of Khameleon. Also, aren't most of the Handheld ports really bad?

Did they do that in DQ11? I dont remeber them ever lagging that far behind that they had to teleport back to you. In fact, when you are full on running, they neever lagged behind you to where they pop out and pop in, they were always behind you

Sounds like they used the Pokémon's base speed for that feature, which make sense as Camp had something similar and they may've used that as a base. That's definitely going to be odd for Pokemon like Appletun or Inteleon, but I imagine those with average speed will be fine.

They did a better job than Pokemon, but sometimes the AI can just be flat out stupid.

The vita port of 9 is good because it’s basically exactly the same as the console version. But beyond that I haven’t actually played any of them. I just believe sprite based games are best played on portables and was interested in playing MK on the DS.

From what i’ve heard, the DS game is actually a near Arcade perfect port.

So, the level cap is set to what the level cap is in the wild area.

Those level 100 reports were wrong, as expected.

So, before I continue, I need to get a hold of a "starter" that's level 60.

I think the "near" part is a good point of what I mean. They clearly can't straight port stuff these days. There's small things to keep in mind. Whether or not you want to add a bit more, how big the system is. How well the controls work.

But to be fair, people often want new bells and whistles. Better graphics, etc. Graphics are like the biggest thing for gamers to clamor about. It's not that everyone hyper cares, but bad graphics(SwSh is not an example of this. They look fine. They just don't look super pretty) can hurt a game's playability. Too many polygons could make someone's eyes hurt if you zoom in too much, etc. FFVII really really looked bad, but the game's cutscenes were wayyyyyy better.

For example, if you play an n64 game on a large screen, the graphics outright are stretched and start to look beyond awful. So screen size does matter too. Small things to take into account really, but it's not just "wah it's not pretty enough". Not saying anyone are acting unfair about graphics either(other than overstating how bad SwSh's graphics are, which are acceptable).

I just figured it out. MK Amageddon 2, as an arcade style de-make. The same digitized photo sprite style as the classic games (only with more modern camera tech). It immediately reduced how complex each character needs to be (and allows them to bring back Motaro), lets them get away with way less complex fatalities, and we’d get to see Klassic versions of all of these modern characters. Even the guests. It would rock!

That'd be interesting. First time reusing the Guests.

Man, that'd be a giant-ass game. They might be able to reuse a lot of animations if they go for a stricter sprite style instead of the photo style. There's a huge amount of recolors in series too(the ninjas, for instance). Even redoing the sprites with slight changes to emphasize how unique a lot of characters now look. I dunno if they had completely different actors for the Ninjas or if they recolored them in-game. That or used new costumes. If they can save time by recoloring the sprites, only requiring a single person to do the actions of all the ninjas(obviously the moves would be divided up appropriately), that'd be sweet.

SLOWPOKE MORE LIKE FASTPOKE WTF

Edit: DUDE! Bike customizations look awesome!
The bikes low key might be the best thing in the DLC. The original back and outfit were so painful to look at

In the old game it was literally one guy wearing a red suit that they digitally recolored. Ermac was the uncolored version. The same thing happened with the female ninjas. It would be a huge ass project, but way more realizable then an everyone is here game i. The style of the modern titles. Even beyond that, everyone actor played multiple characters. Slap a blonde wig in Kitana and it’s Sonya. The Liu Kang guy can play all the ninjas and Shao Kahn thanks to masks and scaling. Remove raiders hat and slap a wig and goutee on him and he’s Shang Tsung. Not saying that’s exactly how they did it back then. But I know every character in those old games was played by a small handful of people. Not to mention it’s way easier to photograph someone for it then to draw sprites. Plus makeup has gotten way better making characters like Baraka, Mileena, Kabal, heck even Drahmin are way more realizable. Contract a stop motion company for the claymation characters and boom.

I'm sure you guys already talked about it, BUT TODAY IS A GREAT DAY.

Pokemon Snap 2 has been my most wanted game for 20 years and I am so extremely happy that it's finally happening. And the fact that Bandai Namco is doing it has me so psyched, even though it'll be a little sad to not see the Hal and Jack N Beans logos at the beginning.

Yeah, that sounds plausible to me.

As long as we're not talking about multiple actors, one per ninja, it's all good. That way they need at most one cyber ninja actor, etc.

I wonder how many others could use similar enough designs for a recolor. Wasn't Kobra effectively a Kano remake? Maybe they could edit that sprite. There's going to moveset overlaps too, which is understandable. But there were always were.

Speed Weed Speed Weed yoy wanna show your Marvel roster first, then I do mine later?
i actually already showed it off a few hours ago

which here it is, by the way
alright i guess it's time to post my Epic Gamer MVC4 (or 5 if you wanna count infinite) Roster
So the way I envision it, MVC4 (I'm just calling it that from now on) would go back to 3's comic book artsyle. But I say go even crazier. Make everything look even more like a comic book, go NUTS on the lighting engine, all that jazz. Also, have an in-game store with in-game currency (NO MICROTRANSACTIONS), where you can buy all kinds of cool stuff. Costumes, extra intros and victory screens, alternate music tracks, artwork, make the unlockables actually worth it unlike most Capcom fighting games these days. Also, bring back arcade endings, but also have arcade BEGINNINGS, and have some of the arcade modes throw in some extra fanservice. For example, Mega Man's Arcade Mode begins with the robot master select select screen, and you can select any of the fights in whatever order you want instead of fighting in a set order like the rest of the arcade modes. In terms of gameplay, you have the option to do either 1v1, 2v2 or 3v3. So you can fight like a traditional fighting game, fight in Infinite's gameplay style since that's like the one thing Infinite did right, or you can simply engage in some pure good old-fashioned Mahvel. X-Factor is completely gone and the Infinity Stones are a separate mode. One last thing: make it a celebration. Make it a celebration of Marvel, make it a celebration of Capcom, and most of all, make it a celebration of Marvel vs Capcom itself. Have tons of nods to earlier games, what if we had footage from previous games in the background of the character select screen, what if we had completely remade versions of classic stages as unlockables, all that stuff, pull a Smash Ultimate and show off MvC's history as much as possible.

Aight, roster time: newcomers are in bold and characters who haven't been seen since 2 are in italics.
