Haha, I know a guy who'll probably end up like that, within our friend group there are 2 smaller groups working on 2 different RPG projects.

Were both newbies so me and my brothers team are doing something simple in RPG maker to get ourselves off the ground, the other one wants to make this big expansive open world Xenoblade influenced RPG as their FIRST game.

I won't.

My future jobs will be English teacher, translator, writer and ideally psychologist.

Coding isn't my thing, but at least I admit It unlike Yandere Dev.

Gotta appreciate the ambition, but hopefully they dials it back a bit. Wouldn't wish anyone to be a Yanderedev 2.0, not to my worst enemy.
Unless they can somehow pull it off in reasonable time, in that case you might just see the birth of a legend.

I was considering being a computer programmer early in high school.

I'm glad I dropped that career path. Far too stressful. The last 2-3 weeks of class I was staying after school most days just to finish up final projects.

In the unlikely event that he does actually get the game done I'll be glad to be say I was wrong but up to this point I've barely seen any progress. Just monster designs and the lore behind his games world.

In comparison the smaller scale project me, my brother and a couple of other in the friend group already have monster designs, major character designs and some of the monster and generic npc designs. As well as 90% of the plot outline.

I think my most defining trait is my inability to avoid spoilers online.
Like, I’ll be looking for the voice actor of some random dude and of course the wiki says ‘current status: arrested’ before it says ‘voice actor: john doe’
Just recently, I checked a wiki because I was trying to determine the name of a certain one-off character, so I look up ‘x show characters’ and click ‘x show list of female characters’ since the character I was looking for was female. And first thing that pops up is a male character, with their image being.. well, their male appearance
turns out they were a girl the whole time and it gets revealed in THE NEXT EPISODE

sorry if this is random I’m just really angry with my lack of self control

The fact that the Pokémon Company is only giving websites and channels a demo to play of The Isle of Armor and not a review copy raises my suspicions.

Close enough had its first episode air at a film festival and it sounds like it’s exactly how you would imagine,

Regular show cranked up to 11 with a lot of smart adult humor for the show. Sounds pretty promising
