This is my most challenging one yet. I had to recolor in some leaves, and it took a long time to get the right shot to get the whole body in. Worst part is when I thought it was a perfect shot, the actual battle arena covered its leaves.

Second hardest was Lord Bartholomy(cause I had to get his head being upwards).

Finally got around to watching last Saturday's episode of DuckTales. Another great one!.

And B.O.Y.D. is such an adorable character.

Something interesting, if that Boo game happened we could be playing as Boo and not piranha plant right now in smash. Which would be very interesting

I don't play Animal Crossing (at least not yet) but I'm assuming you still max out the Temperance confidant ASAP for maximum efficiency?

Only if Segata Sanshiro is one of the racers.

(I'm just kidding - I'm fine with seeing it regardless)
Imma riot if you left my boys Ristar and Vectorman out of your roster.
How many Sakura Wars and Valkyria Chronicles characters?

And any track ideas?
Sure. Lay it on me and I'll give you my opinion.
Remember. This resuses everything from SASASR, SAASRT, TSR, and Sonic Drift.

Does this hypothetical include Heavy weapons guy?
Yes. See above.
I"d just stick with Max, the leader of the original Shining Force. He's only a sprite design, but you could throw in his remake version from Shining Force Neo. It's basically meant to emulate some of the original story, though it's an Action RPG instead of a Strategy RPG.

Otherwise, Bowie, another fan favorite, the leader of Shining Force II, works. Or both, but separate racers. They don't work together really. Nor are in the same game together if I remember right. You could also look online to see who is more popular? I'd recommend one of those regardless of which you go for. As the series is really really dead, any more than 1 feels unwarranted at this point.

As for a vehicle, they could be on a Knight(which is a Centaur in the series). There's however sometimes vehicles, even in Shining Force II, so you could base it upon something like that. Are they all regular Karts but with unique designs?
Noted. And see above.

Racecar type vehicles that morph into Planes, Speedboats, and now, Hovercars for the new anti-grav sections.

You can't just hit me with a yandere maid and expect me to just understand.

Edit: I don't play Persona, in case that wasn't obvious. Lmao
Nah, Kawakami, your teacher/maid (long story) looks out for you and handles all your laundry, coffee, and thieving tool needs while you're busy playing darts or some ****.

If your playing OG Persona 5 this woman will be the most useful person you ever come across.

She allows you to leave the house at night.

I'm about to audition for a Pokemon parody, and I must say, the lines given for the audition are of upmost quality. We have amazing quotes, such as: “I AM SUCH A BIRD! BIRD SOUNDS! TWEET TWEET!”

So a few things before I lie down for a bit.

1. Aurane Aurane I was looking for the anime based off your signature and pfp. I added it to my Crunchyroll list. Gotta ask if it's good cause I'm curious.

2. SnakeFighter64 SnakeFighter64 - I like your ideas but to throw a few more.

Tracks:

Basel from Resonance of Fate.
Sotenbori from Yakuza (can't have just one track)
Gain Ground Stage 1 from Gain Ground.
Bay Bridge from Virtua Racing.
Randgriz Castle from Valkyria Chronicles

Characters:

Alicia Melchiott from Valkyria Chronicles. (You can't have Welkin without Alicia)
Edy Nelson from Valkyria Chronicles (She is super popular in the series for some reason despite being a side character)
Sakura Amamiya from Sakura Wars (Gotta have the new one too)
Ichiban Kasuga from Yakuza 7
Ryuji Goda from Yakuza (is pretty much considered the best villain in the series)

If only I was smart and actually made use of the social links of side characters, but no, I wanted to play batting cages.

No need to worry about any fan favourites being turned into spirits; this week appears to be an spirit event based on big ol' eyebrows, with no new spirits.

There was a problem fetching the tweet

I suppose Alicia can share a kart with Welkin. And I could probably build a new cup out of your ideas along with a few of my discarded ones. But I'm nervous about adding any more characters to a now 90 character roster.

For real...watch the new Justice Leage movie...excellent
Good for you. Performance still sucked and was not suited for Sonya whatsoever.
another bright side is that young Sonya looked better than old Sonya...but in the end Cassie and Johnny are the best members of the family

  • Ichiban Kasuga (Yakuza)
  • Ryugi Goda (Yakuza)

Decided to make it to kill time. This is a single-character one, which means more dedication to fighters and overall a weaker starting roster. I just said "**** it" and made it 21 characters, leaving 5 extra characters outside of the Joestar and I-Wanna-Kill-That-Joestar category. I'm gonna give small descriptions about each and it's either going to just be an overview of how I'd want their playstyles to be or just random commentary I wanna do cause this is my post I do what I want.

I reference previous Joj fighters a lot since I don't design these things to well-explain new mechanics that don't exist, but I do give some idea of differences between other characters.

Jonathan Joestar
1588723282883.png

He's a beefy boy but also doesn't have a Stand, so he uses his beefy boy Hamon powers to hit like a truck and be quick on the ground, although his range is mostly short outside of certain moves like the Zoom Punch and Red Scarlet Overdrive (and even then, they don't combo and/or are slow). His sword is high-risk high-reward, and he has a true Shoryuken, so staple Shoto with some twists. Hamon also does a little bit of healing, which is nice. He's amazing at pressure and if they don't do it right, it'll just be a repeat of All-Star Battle where Jonathan was the best in the game.

Dio Brando
1588723681576.png
Dio but without the capital letters. I kinda argued over cutting him out since there already is another DIO with more potential, but who else am I gonna add? Baron Zeppeli, who barely has anything from the start? Speedwagon? Phantom Blood doesn't have much, but Dio and Jonathan have the most screen-time and the most set of moves to pull from. And unlike his future counterpart, he has abilities that Araki didn't entirely forget. Wall Clinging is probably going to be a useful ability since he's the only one who could even do it in canon. Freeze vaporization, stingy eyes, and maybe some minion-summoning could make him a good spacie and/or glass canon, since Dio can literally suck the HP out of you bone dry and add it to his own.

Joseph Joestar
1588724035919.png
Joseph is in the same situation as Jonathan, having Hamon but not having a Stand that can be used. While Jonathan can use his Hamon to boost his power, Joseph uses his to amplify tools he uses throughout Part 2. Hammers, guns, clackers, crossbows, fire, soda cans, Joseph's arsenal is varied and makes him a prime zoner, especially because he can set up traps and other plays. He may not be as strong as Jonathan, but his hamon-amplified traps would do hella damage and create set-ups for combos, even though the only cool Hamon Overdrive he ever did was like, an elbow bump. He also has the Red Stone of Aja, which would make a pretty fantastic counter Ultimate.

Kars
1588724433175.png
Kars' main gimmick is becoming the Ultimate Lifeform with the Stone Mask. It'll probably just be an Ultimate move transformation, similar to other characters in ArcSys games who utilize it like Frieza. I don't have much to say about Kars, but he's fast and his blade is meant to cut through "anything" in base, so that's probably useful pressure or maybe even piercing if they want to make that a mechanic. His Ultimate form just cheeses you with lifeform manipulation like rabid squirrels, octopus arm grabs, and feather shots that turn into other living beings. Since this isn't a massive upgrade that gives you a big advantage since it only increases his movepool, I'd say he can keep it the rounds after he achieves that form.

Jotaro (Star Platinum)
1588724694020.png

First character with a Stand, woo. Jotaro is pretty simple and shares the "Ryu" or "SSJ Goku" slot with Jonathan. His Stand hits fast and hurts fast, and overall has an average range and gets some advantage with command Star Finger. Also, I'm bringing back the "Stand" mechanic from Heritage to the Future. Star Platinum takes too much, he disappears for five seconds and can't be summoned until then. Jotaro by himself doesn't have much outside some meaty heavies, but he is useless by himself. Also, Time Stop. Five Seconds. Useful as hell if you pull it off.

Jean Pierre Polnareff (Silver Chariot)
1588725185159.png
Polnareff is one of the five extras, congratulations on being useful in two Parts. I'll put him as a more technical Jotaro, being faster and having more initial range but needing to be more precise to use efficiently. Chariot is super fast but is also less durable, even more fragile if you take off its armor to become even faster (AKA just getting extra combos off). It actually has an AoE attack where it shoots the sword itself as a projectile, and Polnareff actually had a Requiem Ultimate in Heritage for the Future where it just puts the opponent to sleep. Make it a high cost and you get a high reward if you can activate it within the say... 4-second window you need to fully prepare the Arrow.

DIO (The World)
1588725711114.png
Oh good lord he has capitals now. He's similar to Jotaro, but he holds his own by himself and has decent range on some of his moves and specials. Due to this, I'd dial back the strength of The World, focusing more on a combination of both Stand and User, since that's actually a rare thing in this situation and I'm not going to let take the chance to let it slip. Knives make a damn good projectile, even just one is good enough with an EX of three. He even has bootleg teleportation/counter through Shadow DIO in HttF (though that was a weaker level of time stop used). DIO can still take away HP like the vampire he is, but I'd make it weaker in strength than his PB counterpart. Also, Time Stop, five seconds, useful if you pull it off. Also, Steam Roller. It's hype.

Josuke Higashikata (Crazy Diamond)
1588726152040.png

Josuke's gimmick is simple. Hit your opponent away, bring them back at the cost of healing them, hit them harder on the way back. He has deadly range with marbles, actual bullets, and actual homing bullets made of glass. It can make barriers out of a floor it punches for defense, it can reflect by sending projectiles back with a well-timed swipe, it's a versatile beast. Josuke could even have a counter Super where people mock his hair and he gains a spike in strength at the cost of some speed. Though, healing could be a flaw if an opponent can read you'll do it (and they have a window of time to react with a counter, super-armor, projectile, etc.), so use it wisely if it isn't an untrue combo.

Koichi Hirose (Echoes)
1588726596965.png
Koichi is one of the five extras, congratulations on also being important in two Parts. He's also a fan-favorite of a lot of people I've seen, probably because he gets some damn good character development. Went from being a ***** to a ***** slayer, the absolute chad. Echoes has fun concepts to be used in a fighting game. Use ACT 1 for stun, use ACT 2 for traps or projectiles, and use ACT 3 as a fast combo maker that may not be strong, but can keep its flow going with its array of abilities that keeps the opponent locked down. Keep in mind that Koichi is the shortest character on this list, and people are going to be whiffing past him all the time. He may not have that physical strength, but he'll be like GT Goku and annoy you for being so small.

Rohan Kishibe (Heaven's Door)
1588726818570.png
Rohan is one of the five extras. Not because of Part 4 favoritism, but he is literally the only character who has multiple spin-offs revolved around him. If anyone out of the five earns this ****, it's gonna be him, and I'm trying to illustrate that by using Part 7/8-era art here. Though, he's one of the hardest to make a fighting game character out of because he rarely gets physical. However, we can circumvent this. Over time, Rohan evolves his use of Heaven's Door, making it so that he doesn't even need to summon to use its effects. He first does this by using his own manga to counter other Stands. So kinda like Android 21 in a sense, he copies your **** literally on pen-and-paper and evolves over the fight, but can still fight up-close and has some preset ranged attacks. Weak at first, but becomes a force to be reckoned with later on, especially with Supers that can make you unable to attack Rohan for a limited amount of time if he can land it.

Yoshikage Kira (Killer Queen)
1588727450385.png
Kira and Kosaku Kira are interchangeable, it really doesn't matter if you merge them into one. One uses Sheer Heart Attack, the other uses a flower cat, I say have both in a moveset that revolves around zoning with either/or and punishing avoidance by getting in close with Killer Queen's deadly first bomb. The first bomb shouldn't be an instakill like in-canon. If you truly want a Hakai, make it a high-cost Ultimate that requires contact from Kira. Though I would say that Killer Queen isn't the strongest of Stands although it should have some physical prowess, and using its first bomb has considerable starting lag so that it isn't broken to all hell. Stray Cat has a good projectile and counter, while Sheer Heart Attack is super-dangerous since it can harm Kira as well as his opponent if he gets too close, making it a double-edged sword and making it specifically useful against campers. Bites the Dust Ultimate is maybe useful, make it go 30 seconds back, and hope you live long enough to see the kaboom. Give it a special ending if you kill with it.

Giorno Giovanna (Gold Experience)
1588728951983.png
Giorno is force to be reckoned with. He has some jank abilities like giving life to stuff that can harm you back if you hit it, making it a useful counter for stuff like snakes against lows, frogs against mids, and tree shields that have high rewards but at the cost of a hard punish if it does nothing for you. The Stand itself punches a lot, which means good pressure but isn't the best when it comes to raw strength. That goes to the Requiem transformation, which is similar to Kars' transformation Ultimate. Basically, GER has an omni-counter, a powerful and wicked projectile, can make Giorno fly, and it single-handedly brings him from good to too good. Being able to pull off the transformation is almost an instant-win, that's why he has the start-up that can be stopped. Though, I'd only make GER either available at Round 2 onward or make it revert back to Gold Experience after a round finishes with it active.

Pannacotta Fugo (Purple Haze)
1588733062418.png
Fugo is one of the five extras. I could've really chosen any of the gangsters here, it was a three-way tie between Bruno, Mista, and Fugo for me. Bruno because he's a damn good character, Fugo because he has a really popular novel that's referenced a lot in the JoJo games, and Mista has a goddamn gun. I chose Fugo, cause I like Fugo and his mechanics in other games. Purple Haze's smoke bombs will hurt both you and your opponent, but absolutely eats away at your opponent's health. His game is to make you block with his wild movements, but chip away your health with Purple Haze's ability or with Fugo's grabs. Make him stab you with a fork, make him bash your head with a dictionary, whatever works. He can also evolve his Stand into Purple Haze Distortion, which just makes your poison overall stronger. That evolution resets at the end of the round.

Diavolo (King Crimson)
1588729995282.png
Diavolo screams "glass cannon". He hits hard, he hits fast, and he has the abilities to use that to his advantage. Epitaph isn't a direct counter, but it's an easy way to avoid any and every hit. King Crimson skipping time screws your opponent over while giving you the ability to speed through projectiles or just whizz through the map. His movepool is pretty limited as well, and that just shows how much of an unga bunga archetype he portrays. King Crimson is fragile in itself, making it easy to break if it's only rushing in trying to kill things. Diavolo himself also has the lowest base HP to compensate for his raw strength. Matches that use Diavolo are gonna be quick, either for or against him.

Jolyne Cujoh (Stone Free)
1588730196156.png
lol i dont have any more fancy renders to use. Jolyne's strings make an interesting mechanic since they have various uses. Like DIO, she has a lot of strengths both on her own and with Stone Free. And Stone Free has the benefit that it can actually extend itself to places other strong Stands like The World or Star Platinum can't quite reach on its own while maintaining its strength. She's acrobatic and can use strings to traverse by either Spider-Man swinging or deconstructing herself for mobility. It can even be used for barriers or other defensive measures. The only downside I'd give is that her combos and executions are strict, making her more technical than other characters.

Pucci
1588730715284.png
Pucci is another transformation-based character, but that transformation is his gimmick. From Whitesnake, to C-Moon, and to Made in Heaven, Pucci's game is starting off with a below-average base and low combo utility and transforming that into a powerful character by the end. Whitesnake has some utility on its own, being strong with heavy moves that create massive hitstun (although slow), throwing discs that stun (or play Mendel's Hallelujah), or using mist. All of this is to keep the opponent at bay while you prep the thirteen words to the Green Baby, which will initiate his second stage. C-Moon uses gravity manipulation and has decreased strength in exchange for faster speeds and combos that throw the opponent back so that Pucci can use his Ultimate to ascend (literally, though it can be stopped and is a slow process) and evolve to Made in Heaven, his final stage. Pucci becomes incredibly fast with the fastest projectiles in the game, flight, and overall becoming a strong character that can combo you by phasing past you. Since this is a lengthy process, I'd keep transformations between rounds.

Johnny Joestar (Tusk)
1588731518195.png
Johnny is paraplegic, so he has to fight on a horse, which is pretty unique to him. His main method of attacking is through the Spin and by firing nail bullets at opponents, but can still attack with his horse and by himself if he is knocked off or thrown off (he can get back on the horse later on if he calls on it), which is useful but has an extremely short range. He has only ten bullets, but they can regenerate quickly a few seconds after all shots have been dispensed. ACT 2 can make any missed shots useful by making them move slightly to the left or right of the ground, which can act as a ground hitbox that launches up. ACT 3 lets Johnny (not the horse though) move around the opponent, useful if stuck in a corner. And finally, ACT 4 is only usable while on the horse, but is amazing based on the fact that it's about as strong as any close-ranged Stand, but can be shot from afar. Johnny's Supers are dependent on whether he's on his horse or not, but his Ultimate remains the same regardless. Johnny's greatest strengths are his range and maneuverability, but cannot do well when pressured.

Gyro Zeppeli (Ball Breaker)
1588732557139.png
I had to choose between him and Diego, and Gyro is basically the second protagonist to Steel Ball Run while Diego is just one of the coolest characters in the entire franchise with a dinosaur Stand. Oh well. Gyro also has a horse, but for the sake of making people unique, Gyro doesn't really need his horse to be a well-designed character. His use of the Spin is far more varied than Johnny's, in which Gyro becomes a rush-down character with great counters based on his Spin, and his Steel Balls giving him an advantage as he can use their long-lasting hitboxes to intercept opponent movements and jumps for punishes while also being great combo extenders. He's also a strong hitter by himself since his Stand is only active during his Ultimate (which for the sake of consistency, we'll say he gets his horse and then ditches it).

Funny Valentine (D4C)
1588733536124.png
Valentine is unique because he uses the Corpse Parts, which randomly spawn on the map every 15 seconds and motivates players to actually prefer being in a specific location while changing the pace of the fight that revolves around intercepting Valentine from getting the pieces, even if it could detriment you in the end. The more corpse parts Valentine gains, the more benefits he receives to his strength, speed, and eventually durability when he reaches Love Train after collecting the third piece. Love Train gives him 70% resistance to all damage and projectile immunity while he isn't jumping or attacking. Again, the pieces can still be knocked out after a hard hit, so Valentine plays defensively, while D4C itself has great strength and decent combo potential. Valentine's other quirk is using D4C's actual ability of parallel dimension-hopping, allowing him to summon multiples of himself, teleport around, or get your opponent by merging them with a parallel version of that character.

Josuke Higashikata (Soft & Wet)
1588734798255.png
Josuke's gimmick is his bubbles. They can be used for practically anything because they have two abilities: plundering and blowing the **** up. It can steal your friction and make you take a hard knockdown, or it can be used as a landmine that blows up if you land on it. The bubbles are also good utility, being able to clash with other projectiles or being used as a fast barrier in either four directions (though it works poorly against multi-hits like stand rushes since it's only meant to block one attack) or by trapping others in bubbles to set up for combos. Josuke can use his plundering to his advantage by throwing himself at opponents without friction either to breakdance spin on you for damage or for a less-lethal bootleg Killer Queen's first bomb. While not as prevalent as DIO or Jolyne, Josuke can mix-up combos with himself and his own Stand. The only prevalent weakness is that his projectiles are slow... because bubbles don't go that fast.

Jobin Higashikata (Speed King)
[i can only post 20 files so uh, here's his wiki page]
Our final character and I don't care who you are, he's the main villain in my eyes and has been for the past five years. Jobin combines Speed King with his son using his Stand, Paper Moon King. Jobin's gimmick is that to deal lethal damage, he has to be extremely close to his opponent at all times, since his Stand's effective range is literally only 5 centimeters for big damage, but can still do Stand Rushes. Paper Moon King extends his range by using paper origami crafts and attaching Speed King's power to them, making them little detonated combustion bombs that cause burn damage. Since JoJolion is still a WIP and we don't know the extent of his "true" abilities, I'm gonna take some liberties and make eating the Rokakaka an Ultimate. Basically, Jobin heals himself at the sacrifice of a debuff, whether it be his movement, durability, or raw strength without Speed King's ability. His other Ultimate is using Paper Moon King to confuse the opponent with Jobin decoys before running the opponent over with either a random bus or Jobin's car because Speed King can drive a car for some reason.

Random DLC time
gotta get cash money somehow arcsys. not gonna give descriptions just gonna speedrun eight characters per part:

- Speedwagon
- Wamuu
- Noriaki Kakyoin (Hierophant Green)
- Akira Otoishi (Red Hot Chili Peppers)
- Bruno Bucciarati (Sticky Fingers)
- Weather Report
- Diego Brando (Scary Monsters)
- Yasuho Hirose (Paisley Park)

Again, this is just me geeking out so if you don't care, I understand. :dr^_^: I kinda did start rambling on at the end. The roster is so small it hurts but this is what I see possibly being the smallest possible, even if it sacrifices some fan-favorites, but that's what ArcSys DLC seasons are good at.

I guess I'll tag Knight Dude Knight Dude for interest's sake.

EDIT: of ****ing course i get the last post of the page, now no one is gonna read something i spent hours typing out man

Dio Brando

Kars

DIO
It's hype.

Josuke Higashikata

Koichi Hirose

Rohan Kishibe

Yoshikage Kira

Giorno Giovanna

Pannacotta Fugo
Fugo is one of the five extras. I could've really chosen any of the gangsters here, it was a three-way tie between Bruno, Mista, and Fugo for me. Bruno because he's a damn good character, Fugo because he has a really popular novel that's referenced a lot in the JoJo games, and Mista has a goddamn gun. Make him stab you with a fork, make him bash your head with a dictionary, whatever works. He can also evolve his Stand into Purple Haze Distortion, which just makes your poison overall. That evolution resets at the end of the round.

Pretty interesting stuff here. I'd probably main Gappy since you made his gimmick pretty fun. I'd be really down for a new JoJo fighting game....that wasn't a 3D arena fighter. Cause that's what 80% of Anime games are. Still while intentionally limiting the roster, you made for a good set of characters overall.

Though aren't Part 3 and Part 5 the hugely popular ones? I could see them larger pieces of the pie realistically, as opposed to Part 4, even if DiU is sick.

Rohan got in cause of Rohan spin-offs, not because of Part 4. He's just grouped in there. If they want to sacrifice some for the sake of Part 3 and 5, that's still fine, you could throw in a Bruno or a Kakyoin and take Gyro's soul in exchange.

I suppose that makes sense for Rohan's case.

They could also just make another Jotaro just as easily. He has a decent movepool from Parts 4 and 6 combined to make a single character and make people rage like people screaming about a fifth Goku in FighterZ. One-second time stop is also a whole different dynamic than five-seconds (or the bar-spending amount based on the actual games). Instead of using three bars and having to use start-up and the possibility of being interrupted to use five seconds, you got one bar, one second, that's it.

Also he looks cool.

That's enough reason alone for people to buy it.

Everyone is always talking about how there's no Dolphin or Platypus pokemon yet, but with recent developments in the world of paleontology I say we should start demanding a Spinosaurus pokemon as well. It's like a giant crocodile-dragon-newt.

Don't tell me this thing wouldn't make for an awesome pokemon.

I'll still like that platypus though, GF.

I just thought Kirby would be too short, besides at least this is an element that’s tied to the actual games, the only other option I could see is him sitting atop someone like :ultmetaknight: or:ultkingdedede:
Meanwhile you got Mega Man over here chilling half the size of everyone. :p
