Signed up for the ARMS tourney.

Going with my gal Mechanica and using the PowerA GameCube Pro Controller. Now to decide which arms to equip.

I must say the archives event has really made me appreciate Overwatch again.

Maybe I'll get back to the PVP aspect someday...

Wow Ben Diskin is amazing. I had no idea he voiced so many characters I know, and seeing him interact with others makes him seem so wholesome and kind.

Well this is fun. My country in Lockdown.
Wonder if getting energy drinks and noodles counts as necessities. I mean can't work without the former and the latter is a nice quick food.

And if I just bring a notebook, I could probably be ok for exercise. How else am I supposed to think clearly for story ideas?

Seriously though I need a way through this.

I am thinking about starting to watch Dragon Ball Super.

Though if you haven't seen Dragon Ball Z, at least, I'd suggest watching that first.

Also, instead of watching episodes 3-14 and 18-27, you can watch the movies Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods and Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection F instead. They're the same thing, but shorter.

Once you're done that, I'd strongly recommend watching the movie Dragon Ball Super: Broly.

But he shouldn't see Dragon Ball if he hasn't seen Z? :drflip: I will not stand for OG DB libel!
That's why I said "at least" haha. Watching the original Dragon Ball helps (and it makes some moments, particularly in the Tournament of Power, much more effective), but I was able to get into Dragon Ball Z without ever having seen a moment of Dragon Ball, so it doesn't seem to be absolutely necessary. (plus some aspects of the original Dragon Ball haven't aged well, mostly the cruder bits of humour)

I already watched DB Super Broly.
It was on my top 10 movies of 2019.

Episodes 1-27 rehash the events of Battle of Gods and Resurrection F with a few extra details to link the two films together more seamlessly at the cost of having much worse animation and art. I honestly recommend watching the movies in their place and then skipping ahead to the next arc.

The best thing about this ok anime along with the mech designs. God I love this ending song.

Edit: I'll make best girl my profile pic. Don't care if I'm 23.

I admittedly only tried watching it because of my bias for Studio Trigger. That, and Zero Two is pretty cute.

Heard the second half of the show was extremely divisive for some reason, though.

It was good but really needed more smoothing of it's plot. Had it been giving about six more episodes or took out a plotline in the later half would have been better.

Also interesting to hear a fan of Studio Trigger. Checked out the first episode of Brand New Animal today. Was ok.

Anyone bought Doom 64? I've been on the fence for a few days now, but I can't find any info if it requires a Bethesda account or not. I remember the other ones needing one upon release which was later removed and said to be "accidental". Now common sense should dictate that they wouldn't do it again, but given we're talking about Bethesda, I better make sure. So does anyone know if Doom 64 needs an account? I'm talking about the Switch version if it matters.

I found the old metal playlist I used to run with when I was 13 or so. I rediscovered a lot of old bands that I tried desperately to remember because I ****ing loved their bands. Allen/Lande, Within Temptation (women's metal is hype), and anything with Jorn Lande in it because that man could make a damn good song.

I bought Doom 64. No, you don't need a Bethesda account to play it.

Yo, can we just take a few seconds to appreciate the incredible animation for this fight scene?

There was a problem fetching the tweet
