Well, my friends suggested me to better wait until the 14 days of the shutdown go past to meet back in person again. In case something happens on the way to anyone's home.

I honestly don't mind it, since at least we have WhatssApp to keep ourselves in contact.

And also, since all stores will close down their stocks will stay. So I will have more time to buy certain comics or figures I currently hope don't sell out.

I ended up going back to sleep for a nap.

Tried the 1 hour exact for the nap and holy hell did it work.

I've recently gotten back on my Tron mood thanks to Kingdom Hearts 2.

That movie and Tron Legacy are easily my favourite Disney films besides Nightmare Before Christmas and Fantasia 2000.

Well **** schools and colleges in Northern Ireland and the Republic could be closed for up to four months.

****ing hell. I'm going to go insane. Gonna have to propose contingency circumstances to my tutors regarding my case not to mention about money and stuff.

I dunno about you, but I am loving OIA so far. The difference between sitting at a desk the entire day in middle school and being able to walk around, stand up and speak, and even pace around is amazing.

In terms of collage, I don't even know If I want to just yet: because quite simply I may or may not need to go to college anyway.

I liked my high school years, but ut's very nice when you leave and become more independent. You can find a group of people tgat truly clicks with you, and since the world is so large, nobody would really judge or anything. You can live your life the way you want to live, not how anyone else tells you to live.

It's great when you realize that.

...Just as I said. It sucked. I transferred to homeschool half way through because my classmates made me so miserable.

I can relate with college on that. Happened to me last year with one incident and I just started coming only when I really needed to. Asshole called me a worm because I was being nice to everyone. Really damaged my confidence which still affects me.

Few years before, my 17 - 20 years in a pseudo college of sorts, that was the best time of my life.

College is what you make it. If you just spend all of it inside your room, you're getting nothing out of it. You'll be a depressed sack of lard and then question how other people are enjoying themselves when the answer's in front of you. (That was sophomore year for me after I transferred colleges.) If you go out, meet new people, ask questions, develop yourself, join an org, all of that.

If you just try every day, it can go a long way.

I don't feel like I can keep up with all the work needing to be finished.

Tbh, anything's better than middle school. Not really a high bar to reach.

And you don't have to go to college, but it is good to develop skills somewhere down the line.

Well, the difference here is that the jump from Middle School to High School(for me at least) went from "terrible I hate this get me out" to "Yes I want to stay best school I've ever seen"


I will always advocate for Project Based Learning over traditional teaching methods, it just simply teaches more broad skills than "how to follow orders so that when you get a factory job you aren't total garbage"


The one thing I enjoy the most about OIA, though, is how liberal it is. We literally have 2 lines of a "dress code" and as far as I'm aware we have:

at least 1 openly LGBT person(I never really got to know them, because they were a senior when I was a freshman, but I know who they are, and given a picture could remember. I never really talked to them though)

at least 1 Furry(I suspect we have a few more, but I know we have at least 1)

a few open Atheists(me included, I don't know the exact number)


Also, you can bring in your own crap, like say a personal computer, your own switch, a entire ****ing Xbox, and most teachers won't bat an eye(just don't play games when certain teachers are watching, your mileage will vary because a few teachers are very strict when it comes to being off-task, but most don't really give a **** as long as you're doing your work)

Hell, we even have a ****-ton of MTG players here, and an entire MTG club. Truth be told, if I didn't go here, well I wouldn't be the TCG nerd I am today, that's for sure.


In all honesty, I think I dodged a bullet when I chose to go to OIA instead of the high school I was going to go; it's humongous and there are just thousands of people everywhere at the high school I was going to go to(mostly with a thick country accent and are devout christians, something I don't particularly want to associate myself with, hell even my church's pastor works there) and all the classes look very boring. At least in OIA's math class we can get up and move around, and most classes at least do something interesting once in awhile besides the obligatory boring set-up work, I don't think I could manage myself well at that school at all even if I wanted to.


I kinda went on a bit of a rant at the end, but basically I love OIA simply because of how...unique it is. This school existing has been a literal life-saver more often than not, and I'm grateful for the people who are trying to make it work(the school is literally 6 years old, barely a blip in the grand scheme of things.)

Been going through that recently, just when I'm starting to pick up again, this virus threatens to blow it over.

There were many good parts of especially pseudo college and fun times for me.

Doing a roundtable like this of about 15 people discussing why a certain guy was a legit asshole all while having a plate of sausage rolls and chicken strips in the middle for everyone to enjoy.
Having the most formal talk about this one guy.
