Man, even the NBA is postponing the season. A Utah Jazz player had the virus too.

I think it got a little mixed up
Great stuff king. Keep up the good work.

Bruh just throw the whole year away.

Akira lookin' like a peek into the future huh? Supposedly the NHL and MLB may also postpone their seasons as to avoid more infections. It sucks, but anything to keep the sickness to a minimum.

So due to the Lego Mario stuff I decided to see which other Nintendo IP could, theoretically, get Lego sets based on what was approved or denied on Lego Ideas on the basis of appropriateness.

What's funny is how many Nintendo IPs were approved (as in, didn't have major appropriateness/competition issues). Legend of Zelda, Metroid, Kirby, Fire Emblem, Star Fox, Punch-Out!!, Kid Icarus, Animal Crossing, and EarthBound weren't outright rejected. Splatoon never got suggested, seemingly, so that's up in the air.

What's more interesting is the two Nintendo IPs that were outright rejected. The first, obviously, is Pokémon, due to being licensed to a competing brand. But the second, which was rejected on the basis of inappropriate content?

F-Zero.
RIP again.

RIP F Zero but I'm more surprised at Kid Icarus and Earthbound getting stuff, everything else was seen as a big IP for Nintendo. Also RIP Donkey Kong lmao

You think the kids might be scared of how swole Captain Falcon and the other racers of F-Zero usually are?

Oh damn, forgot DK on my list. That should be in the first section.

Also it makes more sense when you realize the first list isn't "let's do these" but instead "there's nothing in these hypothetical IPs that go against our brand values/are used by a competitor" lol.

Honestly the most surprising thing is Kid Icarus not being automatically rejected for religious symbolism considering Pit's an angel and the series deals with gods and goddesses.

But considering they added a Weeping Angel to a Doctor Who set, maybe they're fine with Angels as a mythological creature instead of an explicitly religious one?

^Where you getting this info from anyway?
Some people on the lego sub were compiling lists of IP that have been automatically rejected vs which ones weren't. Though admittedly it's not always the most accurate because apparently Ratchet and Clank ended up in both categories due to separate attempts, supposedly.

Alright, how are 'they' getting this info? How exactly do they know what ips are and are not rejected? lol

Can't help but shake the feeling that Nintendo Lego would be very much in the same vein as Super Nintendo World where first it's "oh boy there will be Zelda and Kirby and Metroid and Star Fox!" and then you realize no wait it's just Mario.

But I would love, love for that to not be the case. Even though I am truly aghast at how much Lego costs these days.

Been a while since I saw the Lego Ideas site but Lego explains why sets that made it to the review process get rejected (or at least they did).

Usually stuff like too many new moulds required but in some cases, it is do with the license. Shaun of the Dead was rejected for not hitting Lego's target market.

We got the Ark of the Covenant in a Lego Indiana Jones set.

I apologize for my absence yesterday.

I was doing a little experiment to see if not using my phone at all for a day would help me gain back my normal sleep schedule.
...And It did.

Today I managed to sleep through the whole night and wake up at 8am as I tend to find normal.

Also another good news:

I finally assembled the four.

Wish I could share a higher quality photo, but all the ones I took are deemed as too large to upload.

Now that I've overcome my sleep schedule problem I finally feel really hungry, lol.

Hopefully I can convince my mother about eating a good pizza to celebrate.

My college has also been shut down for two weeks after spring break. That means for almost a month, I'll rarely leave my house at all.

And I have no problems with that.

Fun fact, raid battles have a 100% capture rate... as long as those are neither events nor multiplayer raids. On the other hand, if you're doing a G-Max multiplayer raid, the Pokemon has a capture rate of 3, like most legendaries and you can't even use status moves. Yes, the game punishes you playing with others, which goes completely against the spirit of raid battles.
imagine if Animal Crossing punished you for playing with others

no please, I still need AC.

The sets were not what I was expecting but still really cool stuff.

Zinith Zinith will surely be glad to finally have an official LEGO Yoshi of sorts.

That's actually pretty interesting, won't lie. It's like some sort of interactable Mario level.
Yeah, I really like the concept quite a lot.

And having my very own Mario LEGO figure with voice done by Charles Martinet is unironically kinda exciting.

The LEGO Mario stuff looks cool (I honestly thought we wouldn't get more details until much later). Love that Charles Martinet is voicing it.

Now show me minifigures plz.
