Our Mock Trial begins tomorrow, which means today is gonna be a rush day for most groups in our world lit class.

Our group though? All we have to do really is memorize a few lines, make sure to dress appropriately, and get to school as early as possible to setup the classroom into a courtroom(well, as close to a courtroom as we can make it. We aren't like tearing down all the walls and replacing them with stereotypical courtroom walls, for example)
All I have to do is some simple math by keeping track of the time and writing down how much time each team uses per section, and on occasion recite what time is left. Simple stuff, that. Easy 80-100% grade for me.(not that I really need that grade in that class, I need to work on my other classes, but that's another topic altogether)

So the Sonic movie made me think of this, imagine a live action Mega Man movie where human characters like Wily and Light are live action but the robot characters like Mega Man, Roll and the 6 DLN Robot Masters are CGI and done with game accurate proportions and overall design while still having realistic elements like Detective Pikachu or Sonic. I know by that point it might as well be fully animated, but I do wonder if MM movie would work from that angle regardless...

High school cracks me up when they try to mess with this stuff. For a while, my high school banned water bottles in class because some kid snuck alcohol into one. Nevermind the fact that the ban doesn't actually stop the problem of underage when bathroom breaks and lunch period exist.

NonSpecificGuy xD Ok so, I had reached the 10 hour mark of the Silmarillion, and I swear I laughed at this Beleg Elf guy is told by an elf king "You can take any sword I have, with the exception of my own." and he decides to grab the most suspicious, evil looking sword he lays eyes upon and even when the queen tells her "I sense evil coming from it, because it was forged by a Dark elf." and he's like "This is fine.". Like, REALLY? And while I suffered an stressful coughing fit, I got so mad because I couldn't sleep that while I was listening to the audiobook I started to fast forward it, just to see that at least the hours I was going to stay awake were going to have more about Cele. But nope. Basically, in the tale of Baren and Luthien, Celebrimbor just went "Hi! Bye!" and that's it. x'D That was honestly a bummer!

Also some random practice I did to relax, now that I feel a little better. I saw that if you struggle drawing something, it is a good idea to just focus on that part, and in this case I tried with the eyes. I was just going to make the realistic looking ones only, but I decided to add the cartoony ones too. Also damn it, i began to cough again.

Yeah, Celembrimbor, for as important as he is doesn't get very much spotlight, that is until the Shadow games. To be entirely fair though Talion is completely original and I find him just as well written as Celebrimbor. It's kind of a good thing Cele isn't explored a lot. It gives Monolith the wiggle room to make him even more interesting.

That's really strange.
When I was in high school, if a water bottle looked suspicious, my teachers would just check for scent. If it had no scent, then good to go. But if there was an alcohol smell, on the other hand... ban hammer.

Ya know what's funny? I was a Disney Channel kid. I would watch American Dragon, Kim Possible, and Lilo & Stich the series where some of favorite shows growing up. Then my parents cancled cable because they thought me and my sisters spent too much time watching TV.

I distinctly remember seeing Leroy and Stitch and feeling alienated over American Dragon's art style shift, so they must have canceled it sometime in 2006 or 2007 - just in time for me to miss the first episode of Phineas and Ferb.

I never really found out about P&F until I was in middle school, but by then I was going through a "too mature for stupid cartoons" phase, which was really ironic in that I was still obsessed with pokemon. And by "phase", I mean the entirety of my teen years. It wasn't until I was 20 that someone on reddit resparked my love for cartoons by linking to the Gravity Falls "lefty" short.

That show could have been apart of my childhood, but I suppose the mysterious force didn't want me to see it until I was 22.

Anyway I guess the moral of the story is don't be afraid to like something stupid. Humans are weird creatures. Sometimes we like stupid things like blue platypi in fedoras or plumbers who jump on turtles, and anyone who might judge you for it also probably likes something that's in some way "stupid" to anyway.

...Sorry for the late night ramble. I can't sleep and my mind is wandering all over the place now. Blame DST for throwing a wrench into my sleeping habits.

-People actually think Phineas and Ferb were childish. Despite the creators goal being to include as much for adults as they could even if kids didn’t understand( that was the point of flash songs and other setups for the show they said)

:/ It's a shame, really. I mean, pretty much part of his story is in pieces and scattered throughout the books, when I wish there was a chunk of it. I mean, hell, not even his mother is mentioned. He was probably born after the Oath and the exile happened, but that is why him suddenly popping in and out was kind of jarring. And considering Curufin being one of the renounced assholes alongside Celegorn, makes me wonder how did he manage to have a son like Celebrimbor, that is nothing like him. And of course, I feel the same about Talion and what they added for Cele, despite having some liberties here and there, that is why I adore both of them. Though it rather saddens me all the stuff they have to go through and I wish I could see more. Hell, after hearing the audiobook, I would like pretty much something with them being narrated by both Troy Baker and Alistair Duncan.

The movie has grown on me since its reveal, and their take on Taskmaster is looking better than I expected.

These don't have anything to do with Captain Marvel.

I agree that Black Widow should've gotten her movie before but that's the fault of sexist executives, not Captain Marvel. Like, Guardians of Galaxy are much more obscure and they got a movie before Natasha, too.

The reason why I'm stoked for Black Widow is because her character has potential to be seriously great, and she was interesting in Winter Soldier and Endgame, and other films. However, despite being part of the original six Avengers, she's never been the "star" of the show like Hulk, Thor, Cap, and Tony. So, this film detailing what she's about and her past will help flesh out her character and appreciate her presence in the series more, since she hasn't really gotten time to shine yet compared to the big names of the MCU.

Hawkeye will get more focus via the disney+ tv series, which... awesome. Natasha and Hawkeye have always been more under the radar of the OG 6, so these products will give them the spotlight they deserve.

Well, anyways.

I sadly couldn't go to my Chinese classes today because someone at my Discord server linked to me an hour long video about the legacy of the Fantastic Four and why people liked them. And they really wanted me to see It.

So I saw It, and I have to admit It had a great amount of effort behind It with even voice acting, a well paced parts-format and arguments which I ended up agreeing with all of them.

If anyone wanted to start getting into the team, I would really suggest the video.

Tomorrow I will go to my classes doh.

I'm going to start playing Persona 4. Hopefully we get a Direct before I finish it, because if Persona 5 was any indication, this will take me 100+ hours (and likely several weeks if not months) to beat.

Thanks to BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle, I've been spoiled on a major villain in the game, if not the main one, but I think that's all I know aside from the first four or five party members, so it will be nice to go in mostly blind.

Only thing I don’t like about PSASBR? The Vita version has an audio glitch where the music will just stop working at random times. It’s not on the PS3 version. And unfortunately it will never be fixed because this game isn’t getting patched any time soon.

Come on Sony, bring it back on PS5!
