So the latest episode of the Pokémon anime sets up Ash’s endgame of the series.

He’s aiming to compete in the World Championships and fight Leon for the title in the finals.

This could get very interesting. Also I hope they take advantage of the idea and the league isn’t filled with nobodies. I want to see gym leaders, elite four, maybe even the frontier brains again, or even past rivals from the show.

That make for a pretty amazing arc and I’ve wanted a tournament where everyone from the show gets involved. I’m skeptical if it happens here but damn it would be so good if it did

Ojama Emperor isn't a very good card for the deck I run. I play ABCs and I don't see a use for Ojama Emperor unless I was playing pure Ojamas again. I might though in the future once MR5 is official, I'll test it with 64, as it's good synergy for Link spams, including Emperor because of its conditions.

It is possible. Go has a goal of catching them all not winning gyms or leagues. So technically he can be endless shoehorned into a future series. However he also gets like 3 Pokémon per episode so he’s picked up a roster fast.

If not go then maybe someone else.

Even then I wouldn’t say ash is totally leaving. He could lose the world championships after all. This he has reason to continue a journey. Or he could win and still be made the main character.

Either way I guess we will see

She is literally white, just a little tanned. I don’t even understand why people think otherwise. Like I guess it comes down to lighting but still.

Also Pokémon is a Japanese company. Why the hell would they white wash their own characters given how big of an issue that is

I just looked the whole ordeal up and...I do believe it might be because of the lighting. And I wonder, can't people just enjoy the anime without complaining about (honestly) pretty insignificant things?

I mean it’s a good issue to talk about for real life but an animation project isn’t changing things one way or another. People probably just wanted reason to complain over sword and shield tbh.

Yeah, and in some scenes her skin color was closer to the art anyway; it was clearly lighting, I didn’t even realize a difference in skin color in the earlier scenes until people brought it up. She looks more tanned anyway, like you said.
